Hello. You can assume that the direction for 600m northeast is 45 degrees. For the second vestor medyo hindi clear mukhang kulang kung ito ba ay 40 degrees N to W or S to W, or W to N, or even W to S. But since ay ibinigay is "40 degrees W", I will assume that it is 40 degrees from west to north. But then again, kulang ang second na given direction.
Thank you for asking. Depende iyan anak sa gagamitin mong angle. Example lang, kung ang resultant vector mo ay nasa 1st quadrant. Then kung ang angle na gagamitin mo ay reference angle, that means angle formed from +x-axis going or approaching north...that is North of East. Example 30 degrees North of East...which is equivalent to 60 degree East of North. To learn more about reference angle, may separate video ako about that :)

Hija opposite direction lang sila. Since this is addition of vectors, it means the one towards N is positive plus the one towards South is negative. The sign of the sum will tell you kung saan ang direction ng resultant vector mo. In the case of your example, it would be 3N + (-5)N = - 2N The magnitude therefore is 2N, the negative sign tells you that it is due South.
Kayo po ang bahala sa paggawa ng scale po ninyo. Example lang po iyan kasi graphing paper lang po ang gamit. Kaya po sya tinawag na "scale" kasi pwede nyo baguhin depende sa magiging given.

Hindi pwedeng hindi ka gagamit ng ruler to determine the magnitude of the resultant vector and protractor for the angle. If you are asking for determining the resultant vector without graphing, you may use the component method. That is a method of determining the magnitude and the direction of the resultant vector through computation.
Kpaga sinabing East of North, coming from north going to east. So bale ang galawa mula North, moving clockwise to East given a particular angle. For example, 30 degrees East of North is the same as 60 degrees North of East (from East going to North moving counterclockwise).
North of East and not East of North kasi reference angle ang gamit po na angle. The acute angle was formed by the resultant vector and the x-axis. Actually pwede naman din po gamitin ang East of North, pero using the complementary angle of the reference angle. 😇
Hello po. Parallelogram method is only applicable po for two (2) vectors only. Kapag more than 2 na po, polygon method at component method and pupuwede. I prefer component method po kasi mismo by computation makukuha ang sagot. Mahirap po kasi maging accurate thru graphing lang. BTW, component method is applicable for two or more vectors. :)
