I noticed the same thing. The only reason why the storyline may change is because POWER has a different writer.

I said it was either Effie or KeKe too. And know for sure.....that RICO case won't stick because that would be the end of the series. Yes, Davis has a past. His brother was protecting him from it. There’s definitely a tie between Effie, Noma, and Tariq. Ghost’s dealings with Lobos would’ve never came to light if Mecca hadn’t snitched. Noma was engaged to Mecca. And now Mecca is out of the way and Noma is working closely with Effie and Tariq all while limiting her appearances THIS season. Effie just so happened to talk her way into seeing the private art collection and getting a picture. Interesting. She divulged that info to Tariq for a reason.

I could see Effie being her daughter (which I did think she was) but trying to take her mother out from the inside if she’s not working with her. KeKe could be a good pick too 🤔 I for sure thought Lauren would recant her statement. I think the flash drive has some stuff on it against Jenny.

First time checking out ur channel and I love the thoughtful theories. I myself think Effie is Noma's daughter, and that the Italian guy was the sick ass that Effie said touched her as a child. I think that's why she had no issue with him dying. I think she and Noma/mom always had a very strained relationship and she struck out on her own so had to hustle in the game she already knew: drugs. And I think she got her ruthless nature from mommy dearest, lol... But of course we'll see, and I look fwd to the show, even with inevitable surprises (tho' I hope Drew doesn't die... they had him as a super smart character and now he's just acting stupid...bummer on that... I wanted to see him step up and make the Tejadas a bigger force, with great complexities of family that developed further). Effie was Mecca partner but it makes sense now, Noma's and Mecca is Effie parents. It was always questionable where was Effie getting her drugs from at Choate. Everything you say are my thoughts as well. We are 👁 to 👁 on these predictions.

I was thinking Effie is her daughter but then Noma said she would keep her child away from this life so I started thinking it might be KeKe.

After watching the finale, i think Lauren might be Noma’s daughter. I recall from season 1 that she was adopted. When Effie played Tariq and alerted Norma about Tariq’s plan, Noma mentioned her daughter was moved to a “safe place”. Same time Lauren left to go to another safe place (with her adopted parents). I’m a little confused about Noma’s marriage to Mecca. If she was still married to him, when did she divorce that other guy in the painting? How far apart or close in age between Lauren and Zek? They both attended the same college at the same time. Effie’s backstory is still unknown until next season (hopefully).

I think Tommy was like Brayden. In OG Power he said he used to get bullied cause he was the only white kid in the neighborhood he defended himself but Ghost held him down back then.

I see what your saying, but if that's the case it's just cheesy writing, he meets Effie way back in HS, then all this connection. Just so happens Tariq meets the Tejadas, who in turn Monet is Mecca's (Donte) baby mother, who Zeke is his son, on the other hand Mecca is Noma fiance, then turns out Noma is Eiff's mother. More believable if they would of stopped at Mecca just being her father or brother. Weaving a thread this long is just cheesy and unbelievable

Tariq does have the recording of Effie trying to kill Lauren but Effie also knows that Tariq killed “Ghost” and ray ray though. That would reopen the case from power and it would be more heat on Tariq. Wasn’t it a rumor that they doing a show in London??? Me personally if that gate flow open that would force Tariq to go to London as well as Davis if they got caught slipping

Your Effie theory is cute at best. You make some good connections, but to me, Effie could only be Noma’s daughter if the writers of Power wanted to botch the plot. So no. Tariq and Effie’s discussion in the car may as well be an attempt by the writers to give light to her past. Her entire motive for hustling and schooling comes to light after revealing that trauma. It’s the true cause of Lauren’s attempted murder. Sure, Lombardi’s guard showed Effie to the private art gallery in Italy, so like I said, cute. It would explain how Tariq and Effie are such identical hustlers. Tariq noticed her short, fluent use of Italian enunciation while on their date, so I can entertain the theory. The only problem, is that your Effie theory suggests that they’d already created Noma in the latter seasons of the original Power. Why then, would Noma only appear following Mecca’s death? It’s because Mecca is her key to involvement in the plot. Mecca said he moves guns and drugs for some type of corporate, distribution chain, and Noma is both his supplier, and fiancé. That’s it. Effie is merely a demon sent from hell, meant to ruin Tariq’s life. He never even would’ve gotten involved with her if he didn’t have to move blanca. Tariq’s mother suggested he remain close to Effie as a chess move. Use her the same way Ghost used Tasha. However, Lauren is Tariq’s ‘Angela Valdez’. Effie only turned coat after realizing she was being used, and not loved. Tariq’s anger toward Effie for attempting to murder Lauren is all the proof she needs to make her next move. “I’m sure you can build back up,” was the wrong answer. We don’t start the game over. We recover backup files because we saved the game, plenty of times. She made the same move Tariq made, approaching the connect directly, and she even had the drop on Tariq. We already know that Tariq’s specialty is his bluff card, and his poker face. He will continue to dance with the devil in Effie. However, the plot is looking really good. If Effie does wind up being Noma’s daughter, that would be cool. But the reason why Obi called Effie orphan Annie, and had no photos of her, is because Effie is alone. She has no one. She is the real thing Tariq pretends to have come from. And she’s smart as hell. She obviously keeps a budget and monetizes her time. She’s an Ivy league chic who gets good grades, and hasn’t been sitting on her ass since the Original Power. But I’m rambling. Yeah, cool theory.

I do believe Noma is Effie mother. I don't believe she's a CI the one CI that the detective may have been talking about was the guy with the guns operation who died at the hospital.

It was all released early on the fire stick so I was able to watch it. I will let you know that Tyreek and his buddy do you get into a fight with Norma and all of them and all of them actually backstab to eat Tyreek, so and Tommy💯💩 is back in the last two episodes and helps them but I think Tommy💯💩’s gonna come in season four
