Neat but clearly far from perfect. He looks like he's struggling immensely to take the few steps he's taking. Modern motorized wheelchairs can travel much faster than he is moving. So a combination of this + a wheelchair are probably still necessary to get around. We're probably only seeing the best shots here on video and not all the failures that happened. I would only call this "a 'step' in the general direction." The system and technology also probably costs a fortune to setup and maintain, so someone is probably looking to profit heavily off of paralyzed people. Sorry but I'm cynical for good reason. Even though the Dutch have a better medical industry than the U.S., it's still profit oriented rather than people oriented.

Knew a person in whobwas in accident after coming home from amusement park. He was paralyzed in early 20s. There is nothing he wouldn't have given to just be able to move one of his toes.

Btw, he actually ain’t healed yet. His lower body is still paralyzed, but modern technology only helps him function sort of normally. Thanks be to God! ❤️🙏🏻
