Hi! Um...I like Dabi's depression (': ______ Song: Paralyzed (NF) Anime: Boku no Hero Academia ______ none of the pictures used are mine, they belong to their respective (gorgeous) artists ______ Thanks for watching!
Yeah i think if he is Touya it would almost be wrong not to redeem him since they have ende*vor a redemption arc. It wouldnt be right to redeem an abuser but not redeem the victim he screwed up the most. Touya wouldn't have become Dabi if it wasnt for all the abuse and neglect caused by his Father. He needs to be redeemed in some way
I think Dabi is probably Touya Todoroki. Also, It must’ve been hard for Touya growing up because of how much he resembles his father. Edit, 1 year later: I was right.
This hurts so much more after Chapter 290...Poor Dabi he might be a monster but the most tragic part is how all of this could have been prevented. The Todoroki Family is forever broken and there's no going back
What if Shoto kills Dabi because he is a villain and Dabi's last words are about his past. After Dabi told Shoto Shoto would try to keep Dabi alive but Dabi is already dead. That would be so sad ;^; That would be too sad for me
Oh damn sorry, but the idea sounds cool xD But in general heroes don't kill people, even if they are villains, so I doubt it will happen, but the idea is great
@@veyks9421 agreed, but it could like be a accident, or if it comes down to (most recent chapters of manga) the situation being bad enough it could very be possible for a villian to killed
I think the biggest thing that convinced me that dabi is touya is the fact that when he sees shoto and endeavor he calls them both out by name and from what I’ve seen usually villains don’t call a hero out by their name and on top of it he almost seems to insult them both in some way.
I just hope season 5 would be more about all the league of villains backstory it would be very nice and interesting Editv I have read the manga and well that ain't gonna happen
When you think about it, Dabi and Shotos relationship is similar to Sasuke and Itachi. Itachi only wanted peace and for the fighting to stop but Danzo pressured him by threatening Sasuke, which ultimately led to him killing his whole family and making Sasuke grow bitter, and angry at everyone and everything until Naruto pulled him out his darkness and became his first friend. Dabi was being pressured into being the “perfect” weapon by Endeavour which ultimately led to him literally dying and Dabi, his alter ego, being born and joining the LoV like home Itachi joined the Akatsuki. Shoto was on the very same like Sasuke for the rest of his childhood. the only thing that stopped him from Turning on the heroes and his dad like how Sasuke turned on the village was Deku, who saved him in the festival and became his first real friend like how Naruto saved Sasuke
Touya had to watch his brother get abused while being forgotten and hated as well and was considered a failed project by his father and grew up as a villain because his dream of being a hero was crushed by his father.,.,harsh.
Touya was an unfortunate child. He was the firstborn to an abusive father, who believed that he only existed to fulfill his own selfish dreams. It wasn’t always like that- Touya once believed that his father loved him. As he should’ve. However, once he developed his Quirk, something changed in his father. He became cold and bitter towards the child- and would often lash out and hit him. His parents had 3 more children- one of which developed both his mother’s and his father’s Quirks. Shoto. That’s when things changed. Endeavour turned his abuse away from Touya and instead targeted Shoto. The reason why still perplexed him to this day. Maybe he saw him as more vulnerable? Less likely to cry and fight back? Whatever his reason, Endeavour never once showed empathy towards his children. Whereas Rei would shower them with love, Endeavour merely scoffed and rolled his eyes. Maybe that was the way his father treated him... Regardless, as the years ticked on and Touya grew older, his resentment towards his father grew as well. He could never understand how society could covet such a selfish bastard. The boy- now in his teens- had filled the role of father figure in his younger siblings’ lives, consoling them and reassuring them that everything was going to be alright. He helped his mother too, who had suffered just as much verbal abuse as her children. Then there was the "training" that Endeavour put Touya through. He'd force the boy to activate his Quirk, which enveloped him in azure flames. Since he was still young, using his Quirk for too long was painful for Touya. More often than not, after training his skin would be burned, charred and aching from the unbearable pain that the fire had caused. He hid these scars with bandages, as he didn't want his friends at school to know of his pain at home. His father was as ignorant as ever, completely oblivious to the damage he had caused. Still, Touya stuck up for his siblings, but he protected Shoto the most. Anytime his father went to hit him, Touya would step in front and take the hit for him. He would never let anyone subject his brother to what he went through. But he couldn’t protect him from what was going to happen next. Touya had just come home from school. He was in his room, studying when he heard a scream coming from the kitchen. It was Shoto. Bolting to his feet, Touya took off down the corridor and into the kitchen. His heart stopped dead in his chest. Shoto was lying on the floor, crying as he covered his face with his hands. His mother stared at him, unmoving as she silently wept. In her hand was a kettle, still hot, and water pooled around his brother. She looked up at Touya, who was motionless as he stared at her. She opened her mouth, but no words came out. He ran to his brother, and cradled him in his lap as tears welled in his eyes. Matters only got worse when his father got home. He saw his two sons, his wife with the kettle and put two and two together. He didn’t scream. He didn’t yell. He simply walked away without a word. A few minutes later, he came back in and gently grabbed his wife by the hand. He led her out of the room, and Touya took Shoto to the living room. He dressed his injury, and held the small child close as he sobbed. Touya just stared ahead, fighting back tears of his own. An hour later, Touya heard the door open and close. He had taken Shoto up to his bed, and told him not to leave until he came to get him. Endeavour walked into the room, his expression indifferent to the one he had earlier. His mother was nowhere to be found. “Where’s Mom?” he asked, peering behind Endeavour. Silence. “Dad, where’s Mom?” There was an angry edge to his tone now. Endeavour sighed. “In hospital, Touya. Your mother is sick in the head.” Touya fell silent. It felt like someone had shot him in the chest. “What?” He whispered, slightly trembling. Endeavour exhaled sharply, rubbing the bridge of his nose. “I signed her into a mental hospital. She isn’t well, Touya. She attacked your brother. I did it because I had to. She’s fucked up in the head.” Touya couldn’t believe what he was hearing. This man- this HERO- had just put his loving wife into a mental hospital against her will because of one mistake. His hands balled into fists. His breathing grew heavy. Disbelief turned into rage. “Touya?” Endeavour reached out for his son. “Are you ok-“ He never got to finish his sentence. Touya’s fist smashed into his father’s jaw, sending him off balance. He glared at him, his face contorted into a mask of rage. “HOW COULD YOU?!” He screamed, unable to suppress his emotions. “SHE *NEEDED* YOU!! YOU DARE CALL YOURSELF A HERO, WHEN YOU TREAT YOUR OWN *FAMILY* LIKE A PIECE OF SHIT?!” Blue flames began to consume Touya, snaking up his arms and along his back. “YOU’RE NOT A HERO!!! A HERO WOULD’VE RUSHED SHOTO TO HOSPITAL!! A HERO WOULD’VE PUT HIS FAMILY FIRST!!! BUT *YOU!!* *YOU* DIDN’T!! WE’RE AN EMBARRASSMENT TO YOU AREN’T WE?!? INSTEAD OF HELPING US YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT ABUSE AND BELITTLE AND DESTROY THIS FAMILY!!! YOU’RE NO HERO!!! YOU’RE NOTHING BUT A SELFISH BASTARD!!!” That did it. Before Touya knew what had happened, orange flames came surging towards him. They engulfed him, and alongside the blue inferno already setting him alight Touya never stood a chance. His skin burned and peeled away, and the muscle tissue beneath was singed to a crisp. He screamed in agony, unable to bear the pain. Before blacking out, last thing Touya saw was Endeavour glowering at him with his arm pointed towards him. Touya limped down the alley, his face devoid of any emotion. His arms were charred, covered by the irreversible burns caused by his father. To cover the rest, he wore a dark coat and faded white t-shirt. His hair was scorched, permanently dyed jet black by the damage caused by the fiery assault. He had just come out from reconstructive surgery, as evidenced by his face and arms. Underneath his eyes bore two burn marks, stitched up but there nonetheless. His jaw and neck fashioned the same treatment, repaired but not replaced. He had to have surgery to replace the body parts his father had burned away, which was why looked the way he did. Touya didn’t wait for his father. As soon as he was legible he discharged himself. He gathered his things and left, a burning hatred ravaging his insides. The worst part? He never got to say goodbye to Shoto and the others. Probably for the best. He didn’t want them to see him like this. He stopped, fuming. How could someone like his father be a hero? How could society celebrate people like him? Touya sneered, dipping his head. Embers began to light on his body, but they didn’t hurt. He’ll prove it. As the flames grew in size and ferocity, Touya smirked. He’ll prove how corrupt heroes are... Wow this took me hours! Just a little origin story for Dabi that I came up with. Post your thoughts in the reply section! Hope you enjoyed reading it!
Cheetahgirl Studios I don't care what anyone says this is cannon. Damn this made me cry I can only imagined the pain touya/dabi felt, but one thing you should have added is endeavor would train in a way with touya, and touya would get bandages all over him from burns. Because it was comfirmed that dabi burned himself from his own flames. I just don't think he would get all the scars in one day. Other than that I really liked it
I think the reason endeavor replaced touya with shoto was because Touya’s flames were hurting him and when endeavor saw shotos half half quirk he though it was better to train him instead but got frustrated when shoto couldn’t to the things touya did so it hurt even more when he found out about the accident touya was in. Endeavor did saw he might as well haves killed touya himelf
The question is, what happened to the mother to make her so angry? Was she that way before, or did she have some kind of traumatic event that led her to go insane?
I feel that Endeavor 's redemption will truly be earned when he reaches and tries to revive Toya and take Dabi out of his system so maybe his most heroic act will be saving what's left of his son and this will prove to Shoto he finally has changed To do that he might have to sacrifice his hero mantle
I wonder... Should Dabi actually turn out to be Toya Todoroki... would he be willing to return to his family? And with all his scarring, Eri might be able to reverse all the damage his Quirk did to his body when she's able to control her Quirk. Gone with all the black hair dye and the dead, scorched skin that's just barely holding onto him with those staple-like things. He'd be Shoto's big brother again... and no one would know that Dabi and Toya are the same person.
To be honest I think the whole fandom has basically made Dabi, Touya Todoroki, even if he isn't we have adapted to Dabi being Todoroki's older brother Touya so it's still true in our hearts.
I feal like if David isn't touya he was probably abandoned and he needed to use his power to survive and that gave him his scars which scared of people who would have helped him it's Hart bracking
He was born with red hair but it started to change as he got older. It probably meant that his mother’s genes were starting to kick in, since we know he had his “mothers weak constitution.”
I have just thought, imagine if Fyumi Natsuo and Rei all wrote fake letter to Toya thinking he was dead but in reality, Dabi kept them somewhere and read them whenever he was really sad.
i think there something that can change dabi to a nice person back 1. love (oi fangirls i am saying love from friends other people and of coz his family) 2. attention 3. good present time (lol this is for sure) but if they all got together back and dabi being a hero.............HE WILL GOT MORE FANGIRLS TRUST ME
@@uvlightt What my theory was that maybe they thought he was dead but was really unconscious and had a very faint heartbeat. So they buried him and when he woke up, he had to dig himself out so that's why he's pissed, along with the years of "training" he had to go through with no one helping him. But yeah, unless they completely confirm he's dead, then I'm sticking with him being Dabi. Who else would Dabi be if that wasn't the case anyway? Just a random scarred emo with a grudge against Endeavour for some reason? I doubt it
Rebecca Novak your theory is slightly darker and more... makes sense. There’s also two theory’s i support to do with his quirk and his date of birth. 1- to do with his quirk- blue fire. Nitrogen burns blue, and Rei’s ice quirk means she likely has liquid nitrogen in her body. When fire (Endeavor) reacts with nitrogen it creates blue fire. 2- His birthday is the 18th of January. In Japan 18 can be read in kanji as ‘ten eight’ The kanji for 10 can be read as tō The kanji for 8 can be read as ya ten eight= Tōya
@@uvlightt Huh interesting. Another theory I have is that Touya actually died and was somehow brought back to life as Dabi. Possibly AFO brought him back. I have a lot of theories 😂
Rebecca Novak oh that’s a new one for me. Sort of like the Nomu experiments they had to be people beforehand. Maybe AFO found Touya’s body and tried to make him a nomu but failed and just brought him back to life
I like to believe that Toya would have brought Shoto with him, knowing the struggles he'd go through at home, but didn't for fear of Endeavor tracking him down. I feel like he would've said goodbye, though, and explained everything to young Shoto, expecting him to forget within a few days. But Shoto remembered. I like to think that he feels angry sometimes that Toya left him behind, but sometimes feels grateful, knowing he couldn't have lived as much of a life. I just know he recognized him all those years later during the invasion. I can't wait for the reveal honestly, and if it doesn't happen you'd better believe I'm writing a detailed fanific to make up for it.
Let have a quick talk here: If Dabi turns out to be the Todoroki's lost brother Touya, don't expect a happy ending for the dude! Because and I'm calling it! If this happened and since Endeavor the asshole had a redeeming arc(when he's the abuser.) the only way Dabi card for a redeeming arc will be burning by his own fire... Glorious, sadly I can see this happen most likely than a "hold my hand you were lost and will save you."
@@wittelsbacher um, alot. So we found out that endever "killed" touya and natsuo cant stand being around endever. Rei (there mother) is coming home from the hospital and since endever wants them to be happy hes going to live in a separate house but he will still visit them. Endever keeps having this dream of his family sitting around a dinner table smiling and having fun. At the end of the chapter endever goes into a separate room with a mural of touya. And the last thing he says is. "I wish you were there too." Meaning he wishes touya was in that dream too. Sorry if this was a big spoiler.
I think we forget… Dabi (I have gotten used calling him Dabi🥲) wanted to learn from his father but Endeavor after a while started to look down on him. So he trained secretly. Soon when he got better he wanted his father to come and see what he accomplished. His father said he would, so Dabi waited for a few hours but Endeavor never showed up. Dabi started crying and that is when he burned himself.
Dabi feels bad and good about becoming a villain, but it’s his father’s fault that he ever made the decision. His father didn’t care an inch about his family and he was a terrible father to his children. But if Endeavor was a good father, guess what would have happened. Dabi would not have been a villain Shoto would not have the scar Rei Todoroki wouldn’t have been sent to the hospital Someone save the Todoroki’s!
If he is touya then he must've something against shoto because those were his first shown words to shoto " so sad shoto todoroki " it is like he is saying that was all eniji could do with his training or now who is the failure and i believe he knows hawk s when they were kids
Also somewhat like sasuke and itachi but shoto has no memory of an older brother from what it looks like I hope things go the way where dabi is turned back good but l know he will still be punished for his crimes but really hope their family comes together before that happens meaning he gets to see his Mom, brother, sister and shoto and I hope he doesn't die because l think dabi is so sexy my favorite in mha of most sexist guys but yah that's all
