Having to wear a brace for drop foot i have come to realize that people like your self are amazing. Nothing seems to slow you down. Keep up the good work and keep being an inspiration to the rest of us
Thanks for clearing that up. Your balance looks pretty good and, like in sports, confidence is the key. There are times that being able to use forearm crutches is a good thing. Shopping is one; easier to walk short distances with braces and crutches rather than a walker, when you take your wheelchair as well for the longer distances while shopping.
I have stance control kafo's :) I have eds (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) an two years ago I had a server dislocation in my lower back from my scoliosis that caused paraplegic issues. I have my braces the same reason to, to keep the mobility and muscle tone as much as I can.
hiiiiii why don't you use stance control orthosis? or C brace. you seem to have good hip flexors. you are able to walk really easier and more natural. wish you all the bests
What is the brand and model of your braces. Also, where and what company did you get them from? I have been looking for some that hold my legs firm and no kneed liked and these look like they work
How did your legs become paralysed, I suppose you suffered some trauma as these days I guess polio has been eradicated in the west? You walk pretty well with crutches, I had a girlfriend for about 10 years who used bi lateral kafos so I know just how difficult it is to walk with both legs in braces.
What brand and model are your braces? Also, what company did you buy them from? I have been looking for braces that hold strong and that hold my knees straight and firm. The last ones I bought didn't hold me up firmly and my knees would bend slightly. that is what I want to avoid because that is useless to me

What do you do if you accidently trip over, and fall even from out of your wheelchair as with your kafo's? I think it's pretty difficult because of your bones that easily dislocate am I right.
I notice that your right leg bends a bit at the knee when you walk, whereas your left knee seems to not bend. I assume that your left knee lock is locked. Are your legs not paralyzed?
Hi! They are actually both locked but my right leg locks at a little bit of a different level. My left leg is a little worse then my right but they are both paralyzed. As the the left one totally straightens it allows my other Kafo to do the same. The only downside is when I fall over its like timber watch out bc I can't bend my legs to catch myself lol When I use my walker I have much better balance and stability However I had lent it to a friend in need at the time. I would like to get the right one fixed so it locks as well as the other though but it does still lock. I just have to be aware of where my legs are thats for sure lol
well judging from the way your legs swing forward, it really looks like you still have some movement in your legs. I literally can't move a strand of muscle in my legs as hard as I try. I don't think i'd be able to do this
