Twin paramedics find a patient who has fled from hospital before being properly discharged. The patient struggles with drug addiction and is in pain after his surgery. Elsewhere, the GP calls the paramedics as a 63 year-old man is struggling to breath. On the way to hospital his condition deteriorates. A patient falls unconscious and has potential life threatening complications.
For the very first time, an ambulance has been rigged with cameras that provide a unique perspective on what it's like to respond to emergency calls. 'Inside The Ambulance' follows paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in England as they take us right into the heart of the action. We see heroism at work in the actions of these first responders. We also enter the lives of people in crisis and learn their unique stories.

Imagine hitting your head super bad and then you see the twins.. Must feel weird and also scary for a second. To think its a really bad injury if you see double. :D

I've seen double before, even though it was actually triple. I saw one out of my left eye and then two split out of my right eye. (My injury was on the right side)

I have severe asthma and when I would go to the emergency room first you have to sit there for god know’s how long and then they ask you questions before you can go back there …I CAN’T BREATHE HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO ANSWER A BUNCH OF QUESTION’S JUST TAKE ME BACK THERE AND GIVE ME THE BREATHING MEDICATION AND THEN I’LL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS BUT WHEN I CAN BREATHE ‼️ There is nothing like not being able to breathe when I was younger ( in the day’s of oxygen tent’s ) I would sleep with a bottle of Primatene Mist under my pillow and sometime’s in my hand the feeling of not breathing is AWFUL ‼️‼️🥺

She said "Butts" hahahaha! Got to get those laughs when you can if you work in healthcare. When I got my mom the cat she had yearned for I had to get her declawed because of mother's frail skin. Fluffy would "play" and it would harm mother. People say its cruel for the cat, but she was so loved and after she healed up she never seemed to miss her claws. In fact she had the sweetest hands that she would pat you with and loved to hold hands with us. I miss them both so very much still. Fluffy always was mine in our hearts...and was so lovely. No more cats for us...but I really want one! Love this show. TY for airing it for us to enjoy~

I feel so bad for Sarah! She definitely needs a pacemaker to help keep her heart from fluctuating so often like they said her cardiologist was considering! Hopefully sooner rather than later for her because she just looked so panicked and miserable- which is totally understandable! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

They look really young,a lot younger than 26. My daughters are like that,they look younger than what they are and I also looked young until I got in my 50's,I'm 68 now. I bet if I got some teeth,I'd look a lot younger.

They should have given him pain medication because he had a surgery. They did surgery and causes inflammation to outlining tissues. Even if, a patient is and drug addict, they have the right to be treated for pain postoperatively.

Most don't care for the Socialized medicine, because you can't pick the same physician and may wait months for your appointment. Everything has it's give and take..eh?
@megangreene3955
@megangreene3955 6 месяцев назад
@@markbirchette8740Oh well, we can't pick the same GP here in the United States and we have several months to wait for basic services like a dentist appointment or an appointment with the autism specialist. The only difference is we have to pay $$$$$ for care. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Sometimes you could give up your tax paid medical care and still not get in to be seen any faster, and then possibly face bankruptcy should anything happen to you and you need to stay in hospital for a long time.

That postop guy who left to score some cocaine and heroin, and have a beer with a mate: Here in the States, if you sign out Against Medical Advice, they'll let you die on the next corner. No search parties here, or paramedics kindly lassoing you back into the care you need!

It’s no wonder the guy was out seeking cocaine. Paracetamol is Tylenol. Maybe if surgery patients were given proper pain meds instead of accusing us of “it’s all in our heads,” then maybe we wouldn’t be seeking on the black market.
@Koselill
@Koselill 4 месяца назад
Well if he was in treatment for addiction and was clean of opioids like heroin, giving them opioids like morphine might set off that addiction again, proving far more dangerous than the pain they'll have for a few days. Unfortunately its the kind of thing you set yourself up for when getting those addictions :(
@vagirl19
@vagirl19 3 месяца назад
Typical surgery patients don’t drug seek illegal substances for pain relief 😒 if you have a history of drug abuse you should have a conversation with your doctor about that beforehand to come up with an action plan to help prevent a relapse
