I was there last year February, 2020 exploring the birth of the Blue Devil.12month later I am still totally amazed by what I saw, and the beautiful people. Several of the photographs I shot are the book Culture People Places, Trinidad and Tobago, and available on my website bostoncarnivalvillage.com Awesome video, enjoyed it. #cultureliveshere.
@@bushman.22 BORN IN TNT......SPEND SOME TIME IN JA.......MET MY WIFE THERE.....THIS PARAMIN TRIP REMIND ALOT OF THE BLUE MOUNTAINS,,,,,,,SAME WAY,,,,,,,,AND I AGREE VERY MUCH WITH YOUR TITLE,,,,,,THE MOST MAGNIFICENT PLACE IN TNT......GOD HIMSELF UP IN THOSE MOUNTAINS,,,,,,,
Nice country full of food and surrounded by beautiful clean water, yet people hating on each other with the racial bullshit and the criminal activity, while all that beauty going to waste because people scared to venture out. it’s a crying shame.
Beautiful Paramin!!! Something telling me you going back there soon! Make sure and go to the Mia river on the La Finnette road. ..You can visit uncle Clyde by the paramin school area...he cooks lots of local dishes ...paramin style...on you tube..foodie nation !
I agree!!! Paramin RC in this video alone was enough to sell me on the idea!!! He passed right by the house I grew up in and that warmed my heart!!!💯💯💯
I'm from Carenage but living abroad over 30 years.. I've never been to Paramin. So much for me to see and do on my next visit. I lose my nerves going to Maracas...not sure if I'll survive going to Paramin...but it looks sooooo beautiful 😍😍 ❤🇹🇹
Very Educational video!! Why are their not many more subscribers? Born and raised in the capital city never ever once did I knew or explored such a magnificent place, we take so much for granted without realizing it now living in Canada where we only have 3 months of summer and 6 months of cold weather Watching this gave me goosebumps Is such an amazing way. the beauty the hills the nature reminds me that no matter what home Is a paradise and I want us to start to show love and respect to the father above each other stop the waring and senseless violence and reconnect with thé motherland. 🙏🏾
You’re most welcome! You deserve All the support for taking a lot of your time to bring these amazing historical and Educational videos from miles away to the comfort of my home 🙏🏾
Thank you for sharing your video to the world. I have always wanted to see Paramin and had the impression it was lush a virgin area, but like all of Trinidad land clearance seem to be a disease that has afflicted many of its population. Even the hills in the distances have pockets of cleared land. What will become of the island in the next few years, when the world is in recession and Trinidad and Tobago slump to its worst economic decline in its history. If the land cannot sustain the population, because of its degradation what will happen to those without an income to feed their family.
Went to school with a fella named William letrand who later became a known body builder. he often joked about being scolded by his father with a cow skin, those were some good ole days.
Greetings Tom, I am interested in buying a piece of land down PARAMIN side. Please forward any helpful information you might have to share. And also please forward the information to contact that gentleman for the $800 PARAMIN tour.... Blessed.....
For real....amazing stuff! Still can't believe Grenada boy wow! Luke and his family are nice people. Thanks to Rock for taking the Bushman up there. Thanks for the vid. (from Captain Caveman)
I never new there is a village called Parami, I loved the video the only thing the audio was not the best. Please do another video I would like to know a little more history of that beautiful place.
We visited Paramin when we were there. We also visited the house of the "Man with no doors". He's a really cool and down to earth guy. Check out our channel and the following video of our Carnival trip: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JMHvtxLANzs.html
I will like to buy a piece of land up there thanks for making this video I lived in Canada so when I come to t and t I will get in touch with the bush man
Enjoyable !Breathtaking!Stupendous Having left Trinidad in 1963 not ever heard of this place, until during London lockdown when as a novice viewer this area I chanced upon. Well you did it for me today.Heart in hand ,little dizzying but it will be shared .😷🤎 ver hearingver hain
Well done, Bushman. Being a Maravalian with Paramin roots, I enjoyed seeing it from a first-time visitor's point of view. Btw, Sokolo Lectren doesn't legally own all the land your guide claimed he owned. I can't expound further since the matter is currently in a T&T court. Regardless, nice video. 👍🏽
@@bushman.22 that should be no problem. If you are using a gopro, you can get something called a dead cat. Its just some cat like fur that prevents the background wind etc... If you want better quality sounds you have plenty options. Give me a call we will work on a solution bro.
Omg...this was a great and scary trip..thank you for the beautiful tour.i dont have the stamina to do that mountains..too steep.i am Trini living in NY
As much as I love this video, I can't help but be scared for the safety of the man without a door. Trinidad is not the same and his home is probably one of the last of such safety zones. Hope he and his family continues to be safe and sound.
He's good and always will be , only hikers ,nature lovers venture there , the vibes they posess the LORD will always gide & protect them ,to me they dont persue a life of vanity , i will b up there soon again to do another vlog , tour ,sit ,chat & cook with ras.
@@bushman.22 , thanks for your response. Glad to hear he is ok. Many, many years ago, I was lucky to visit Paramin a few times. I remember being so scared and the tires were screeching too. Those roads are for the brave only. Why in the world did I only discover your channel a few hours ago? Well, I am glad I did. Your channel and content are a wealth of information and brings back some good memories. I am a subscriber and will be spending the weekend catching up on all of your videos. You rock!
@@bushman.22 , absolutely! Once you keep bringing us the vlogs, I will keep enjoying and sharing them. Have a safe and enjoyable Friday and weekend, sir!
Regards to Luke for me .Did you go down a steep hill to get there? Therefore that's Luke and family if he has a Ras .Beautifull & cool breeze. There is a bench facing the sea. Mangoes. There is a waterfall etc My little heaven on earth.that trail is the waterfall.
Thank you for this tour, I sure would like to do this when next I come home, How about a contact for the driver he seems like the kind of person you want taking you around.
Hi.Just make sure you do not go on a rainy day. Once you in a four wheel drive yer good to go. May be offered a cup of coffee ,please do not refuse the coffee as they get offended.People are helpful & friendly. There are lines across the road so wheels dont slip. May come back speaking Patois.🤣👍🙏
Amazing. Left T&T 33yrs ago. Never had the chance to see our beautiful island. Always say most Trinidadians don't know what they have. The paradise they live in. Appreciate it. Ask Mr Rock how safe is it up there, especially for tourists. Tku for sharing this. Kudos to Mr. Rock. Keep up the good work Mr Tom. Can't wait for Lockdown to end. Would be coming home. Hope I get the opportunity to check you out.God bless. 💖 from 🇨🇦.
Dolly, great point like I said in one of my comments the things we took for granted is the things we wished we could relive. We were lucky to be born on paradises Island. It is Just sad the way things are currently
@@bushman.22 was heading to Diego Martin and I make out his car first . The corolla, and I make out the rims too. Plus on top of that he was wearing the grey jersey!!! Sorry I didn’t stop and hail him out
Around 22:00 if y'all had continued down that road, when the concrete road stop there is a 40 minutes trail that will take you down to Paragrant......and to the right of north deck is the 2nd entrance to head down to Paragrant as well as Mahagony ridge
