This band is absolutely in their peak rn. Not just for hayley's vocal, but the whole member in general especially the new addition Brian imo. His present complements this band alot.
One of her most vocally demanding songs, after all these years she sang it better than she ever has! And they almost have never performed this song over the years.
I am pretty sure the reason for this is exactly because of how demanding it is, and she also had nodules on her vocal cords, which made hitting the high portion of this one very painful and potentially damaging to her voice, but she said fuck it for this show and NAILED it.
Got to see them perform this live for the first time ever. To say I was emotional about it would be an understatement. It’s not that she couldn’t hit it, it’s just that doing it night after night on tour would be an incredible strain on her voice, and she didn’t want to disappoint people by doing it sometimes and not others.
From all the videos I've seen you react so far this is the one you seemed the most excited about. Your expressions were like a kid's opening christmas gifts and it was so cool to watch. :)
Good song! Our daughter is a huge Paramore fan ever since their first album release. We saw them at a local music festival in their early days and she was obsessed ever since.
Same. My daughter turned me on to Misery Business, and they caught my ear. Took her to a concert, and honestly I think I became more obsessed than she did! They're highly impressive live. Hayley has so much character in her voice. And she owns the stage with her presence.
Ok, this was before I found you via The Warning, but you keep mentioning this performance, so… I had to check it out. You were not wrong! That was an epic performance! But I always loved Hayley, so it’s not really a surprise. She is sooooo talented! Thanks for the reco & great reaction Ash! 🥰
@@ashlenamusic I was about 5 rows behind the Pit!! I also got to see them in Detroit like a week before! Love your reaction and I will be watching more of your channel, keep up the great work :)
Matt, you commented the same about Dany and the label before I got to it. That's what I get for letting myself get distracted! 😂. Anyway . . . at least she knows now! 🤘
Hi Ashlena, Thank you for your reaction to Paramore. I really like this band and especially the voice of Hayley Williams, the singer. You may already know this, but the producer of their second Album "RIOT" released in 2007, David Bendeth (one of the big names in the rock music industry. He is Canadian, but currently lives in the USA), is also the producer of the album "ERROR" by The Warning band, their third album, but their first with Lava-Republic records in 2021. Greetings from France 🟦⬜🟥😉
@@ashlenamusic yes, cool ! You could see him speaking of the girls in the documentary "The Warning - Mayday in the making" part1 to 6. Have a nice day 👍
That's crazy good. You look so happy.. So now you're waiting to go see The Warning. This is what time feels like TIC......... TIC..,............ TIC................... 🤟🎶☮️
Hi dear Ashlena ! This was a cool song, I never heard of this band before but I liked this song very much, as well as your reaction to it. I could literally see, how much you appreciate this band and enjoyed every moment of watching your reaction video. The singer's voice is great, herb high notes are impressive... although I thuink her outfit is a bit questionable, but this is only MY opinion. But HEY... I just looked up the album by "The Used" that you had on your table during
Hi Gerry! I’ve been looking for this used album for 20 years, and now I will never sell it because it is one of my favourite albums of all time. But yes, her outfit is a little questionable but it’s really just the shorts for me that are odd. Haha
@@ashlenamusic i mean we would at least had a chance if we knew to registrate to Taylors tour. kinda bummed registration was already closed when Paramore was announced as an opener 🥲
All of yall beem sleeping on Haley. This is not new. She is a belter and she is soulfull. I don't think the reason they just added it to their live set is because she just mastered the notes, it is just because it is a beast of a song.
I have never slept on hailey. She’s been my top female vocalist forever! This song is a complete masterpiece and I’m glad it’s back on tour… well at least at festivals.
Hey Ash! Great reaction as always! You and I share two of our favorite singers. And I see parallels between Hayley Williams and Tatiana Shmayluk of Jinjer. They're both super melodic but quirky and outside the box. They can both do amazing things with their voices. Both of them can headbang with the very best of em, which I freaking love. Both of them have killer bands that aren't just backup--they really groove hard, and they push the barriers while they're doing it. Maybe what I love most about both Hayley and Tatiana is their empowering feminism. They're both unafraid to give you a window into their tortured artistic souls, their vulnerabilities and weaknesses. They both wear their heart on their sleeve. And then they both roar defiance. They've each found their own unique way to grab that power with both hands and throw it square in the face of the powers that be. Whether it be the patriarchy, the record industry, or a foreign dictator. They don't take no shit. They may be tiny little girls, but you ARE gonna take notice of them and hear their message! And both of them absolutely OWN the stage. If you see Paramore or Jinjer live, and you are not won over by their infectious energy, maybe you should be listening to elevator music. They both embody rock n' roll as well or better than any guy. The energy is undeniable.
@@ashlenamusic My daughter turned me on to Paramore when Riot! first came out. I took her to a show and I was blown away how good those kids were. I've been a big fan ever since. Hayley is a queen!
Great reaction. Love Paramore also all-time favourite. That voice is unique to Hayley and that growel is signature Hayley. I think the return of Zac have given a fresh outlook for the band and sound phenomenal. My wife has an issue with my obsession with Hayley, yep its that bad.
Great! I luv Haley Williams and associates , she's a hell of a performer, luv a couple things she did with Lauren Mayberry (from Chvrches) yup great noise indeed. You should try Chvrches and Wolf Alice as well great bands, you won't regret it, trust me......happy Sunday AshLady!
I love Paramore as much as I like The Warning. They're my favorite bands. I hope in 2024 they come to my city (Monterrey, México) cuz idk I just love them. My fav songs of each album i would say that are Crave, Hard Times, I Hate to se Your Heart Break, Misguided Ghosts, Fences and Franklin 🧡 All the love to H, T, Z and the ParaFour guys:))
Paramore = Dope! They’re really great and Hayley is just an amazing singer, 🥰 it! 🌹 Edit: I’m wondering if she’s had some vocal tuition to get those high notes? I have another rabbit hole that you might be interested in; bearing in mind you like great female vocalists, there are a couple of bands I can really recommend: 1) Jinjer - a Ukrainian band with a female vocalist - Tatiana Shmayluk, she is a beast! Best first track Pieces, studio live performance. 2) Nightwish - A band from Finland who have a Dutch singer Floor Jansen - she is an outstanding singer and vocal coach! Best first track Ghost love score Live from Wacken 2013. If you don’t want to react to them, that’s fine, I just think that you will really appreciate them! 🌹
