I think rock has saved my life. I remember the pain and anger and noise inside my head were so loud that only angry and loud rock songs could silence them and give me some relief. Only then I was able to feel good. I survived and years later now I am happy, free, and mostly at peace. Just had a bad half of a day and came back here to calm down and realized how far I have come. Thank you.

Riot still is the best of Paramore! This is their most energetic, intense, and well written album beginning to end. Truly, it was understood but still a shame that serious differences couldn't be settled as all members in the Riot lineup really complimented each others' efforts. Add Taylor permanently at this point as a 5 piece and this would have been even more impressive.

Life was never great for me but i understood how special this music was during its unique era. It was definitely more special having online only with computers, only taking pictures with cameras, and having phones only make calls and texts with the lowest grade photos without super annoying l.e.d. lights. Sometimes I wonder if Hayley and Jeremy (the only two left from these days) ever go back and watch these videos and miss these days before everything was about catchy, poppy hooks and jazzy rhythms to appeal to the ever diluted music market in today's society. I get that punk isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I still think that musical standards are lowering and good music isn't appreciated. As a musician myself, this worries me.

I would like to partially retract the statement above, since I posted it after listening to the new album once with somewhat of a prejudice, based on what I'd already heard about it from other Paramore fans. After giving it another run-through, I could tell that they hadn't totally abandoned their roots, with songs like Now, Part II, Anklebiters, Be Alone, and even Still Into You. It's a far cry from being called a pop/punk album (which is why I only partially retract the above comment), but don't totally bash it if you're a Paramore fan, because they still have songs reminiscent of the old days.

FOB never sold out and never broke up. They were on hiatus(a break) for 3 years and their music is kind of still the same. SR&R reminds me of IOH and FÁD a little bit. Mighty fall, light em up, alone together, young volcanos, and just one yesterday has their punk roots. Idk about The Phoenix but it sounds a bit "punky" . Don't say they sold out because their still the same :)

***** Um, no? You can't just assume that's what they did. For all you know, they could have just wanted to try a different sound for once. But knowing them, them trying out a different style sounds more like them. Panic! At The Disco is always trying out different styles and sounds, I guess that's what Paramore wanted to do as well. Knowing Hayley, Taylor, and Jeremy, though, that's exactly what they wanted to do.

I saw an interview with them where they admitted that the early music was fuelled by the antagonism between them all. They were friends but they actually clashed on a lot of things and it bled into the music. Now they have past that phase they have chilled in the music they write.

I’ve been listening to Paramore since 2012. I remember when I 1st heard them it was actually by accident. Heh, heh. My mother & father got me an iPod for my birthday 1 year & the girl my parents bought it from already had her songs downloaded on it. I was upset because I wanted to put my own songs on it but since it was a birthday gift, I accepted it. So while I was listening to a certain song, I realized it was on shuffle so when the song ended I skipped through them since they were all in a random order. My finger got tired & decided to stop hitting the “shuffle” button & it just so happened to land on Crush, Crush, Crush by Paramore & ever since then I’ve been listening to them. They still rock their just trying new beats that doesnt mean they dont rock no more cause they still do. a true PARAMORE fan will stick by their side no more how different the beats change. i will and FOREVER LOVE PARAMORE!! :)

lightsplease They still use their instruments, you idiot. They added in synthesizers. Don't blow things out of proportion. Paramore are better than ever.

there is no old and new paramore they had to do something because they are now 1 guitar less they will always rock

At 1:37, The Show is all yours, Zac. Not the Singers, Not anyone but yours. To me, Everything goes silent before the Drummer brings life back into everything at that part of the song.
