I vote for a new take of this song with your awesome production quality you get today! You've helped my band still have practice when the drummer and singer can't make it!! So awesome!
She’s demonstrated more skill on the snare alone than I have ever displayed on an entire kit... The dynamics-the volume control was just so effortless. It looked that way anyway. Just another one of those times the world reminds you that you aren’t sayin much lol
I’m a drummer and I could never make playing this song seem as effortless as you do. You seem to have genuine talent and I can’t help but have a shit ton of respect for you. Props.
I never get tired of watching Kris doing covers, she is amazing, and she would blow it away here in Los Angeles on the music scene. She is definitely a treasure! She nails it all the time.
I actually like the camera filming. She brings so much energy to the song so the spontaneity of the camera compliments it, IMO. I feel it was added for the effect. EDIT: Very nice cover! You rock!
I've just found your channel, watched a couple of videos, and I ♥️ed it, you're amazing 🤙🏻 I'll start following U on social media! I like your playing!
TheOtherWhiteBread0 it’s definitely not! It’s easy to play slowly but some of those fills and kick drums in the second half are pretty fast for a beginner. Sorry to be snippy but I’m really not a fan of good drummers pretending that intermediate songs are super easy to make themselves feel good when they’ll only discourage beginners who are struggling with a song like this.
@@Pharside- It's not the hardest song ever, but it's not a song that beginners should start with either. If you disagree, by all means give your students this song, but I'm not convinced your retention rates will be great.
I really liked this cover and actually also the filmstyle. One request however: can you maybe wear pants that are visible versus the background. I like to track the bassdrums.
She can play. No doubt about it. But she's just playing with the original drum teack of this. The audio we're gearing is not the audio from the actual drum record she's playing. I already noticed it fro. 49th second of this vid. Review it. Sorry, your good but it would've been better if the drum track was yours :)
david lañas If you're talking about the rack tom hit, she did play that. She just hits it very swiftly. If you watch the end of the second verse, she does a slighty different fill, and the rack tom hit is no longer there, as you say it is. It also sounds like the original song since she didn't use a drumless track, so the drums mix in with her's. She also plays some fills that are not in the song, so explain how she could not play that.
@@triviasona probally is just a little delay between audio and video...If you listen to the original Song and then come back to this one you can note the diference
Good cover but what's up with the camera guy? Moving all around the place and swinging the camera around in pace with the music. It makes the whole thing seem a little more pathetic than a cool drum cover. This is just my opinion though.
ahh actually i did hear a mid tom noise before you see her hit her tom during that single stroke roll thingo. yeah doesnt surprise me its just a mime along, i have no doubt she can play the audio we are hearing though
Dude, she is playing that tom, she hit the rack tom very swiftly, you can see it. Although even at that she's not playing the original fill, still she's not faking it. Slow it down, play it over and over you'll see it. It's called drummers ear. :)
