You have to fly close to the ground two times on every flight! The clue is to have a plan, and to keep a stable direction, speed, attitude and sink til your feet is on the ground. Those haphazard "corrections" and turns was without sufficient altitude. Which they quickly found out.
Some of these boys and gals apparently have never had 'feet and knees' together repeatedly drilled into their heads. They don't teach you that for the hell of it unless you want to be split in two.
