Paramount Scares Vol 2 4K Collection Unboxing And Showcase! 

This is lame and a waste of money, plain and simple. Why is Breakdown even in this set? It's not even a horror movie lol. Pretty packaging aside, this just feels like a mish mash of random films thrown together without any semblance of a theme and no matter how you try to justify this, it just doesnt work. Hard pass.

Orphan First Kill is a prequel not a sequel.

Hate those slip covers! I did notice that World War Z in Scares set has 7.1 audio while scream factory only has 5.1 audio. Strange?

not a no brainer for me, I usually buy box sets to SAVE space lol if they came out with a "slim" standard version, I would jump on it. I don't love any of those movies enough to have a big green box lol and the slipcovers are awful imo

Can you imagine if paramount kept making theses boxes and each one included a friday film from part 3 on

actually a mystery title is fine as long as the price reflects as much.

It's worth buying even if you don't like the movies because you can sell it on a couple years for double that😂!

I'm not sure why people are so against this set. Even if you just want Breakdown and Friday 2, the preorder price is basically cheaper than buying 2 separate 4K releases. Might as well grab the box and get 2 more movies.

I probably would have gotten it but I have the Friday the 13th set from Scream Factory and I can’t see myself double dipping just to change formats.

To be honest ken, them going the easy and lazy way out with the plain slipcovers is kinda making me angry.....like you said the 4k logo at the top glossy slips with original theatrical poster art...is that so difficult to do paramount???

World War Z 4k theatrical? Yea no thanks. Why is it so hard to make director's cuts in 4k if they have the footage already?

That is a nice box set! Usually I’m not a fan of locking new releases behind a box set but in this case they priced it well and the movie selection is nice. And like you stated, they put a nice effort behind it.

Breakdown is scheduled to be released in 4K from Paramount next month in the U.S, and Orphan: First Kill is already released in 4K in the UK.

Oh man this volume is 10 times better than the 1st one IMO. I hope to see a Breakdown & Orphan First Kill reviews! Great video as always man!

Now this is a fantastic box set...breakdown is in my top 25 movies of all time so its worth it just for that title alone but i HATE those ugly slipcovers...why couldnt they just do original poster art for all the slipcovers??? see if they did that i would've ordered yesterday but now i have to import the 4k because they couldnt do it proper.

Thank you for the offer But I refused to upgrade my tv into 4k like the monitor I'm staying with 1080p tv with my 1080p monitor That I bought this year and I avoided garbage 4k contact And also 4K TV's are trash. They make my regular blu-ray discs look like garbage Upscale

Mainly because they're exclusive for this set. Paramount is thinking of us collectors. We're not always on the same page, but they're definitely trying

II'm trying to order this set from a Canadian retailer and it's nowhere to be found. I'll have to buy from Amazon US and pay for import fees. Canada sucks 😡

Yes it might be at a good price point, but the video quality is not great. Just seen Breakdown and Friday part 2 and I wasn't impressed. Audio is at best average. Disappointed.

My son and I just ordered this after seeing your video. And we are extremely excited for the titles in this set break down.I have been looking 4 on blu-ray for a long time and I am excited to see these all have cases, not just cardboard sleeves like Paramount did with Star Trek, the motion picture last year. I spent a $100 on 1 movie and there was no case so I could integrate it into my collection. I had to improvise something. Glad to see all of these have individual cases inside the set, and look forward to having it in the collection

This is a beautiful box set. I wanted it, but my OCD would've drove me nuts because I don't have Volume 1.

The Friday the 13th 4K was a bit dark-not quite as bad as the complaints would have one believe, but even still, a tad bit too dark. It would have looked better ever so slightly brighter. But my main issue with it was the revisoniat change from the fade to white title sequence into a fade to black title sequence. NEVER change the actual content of film without offering the original version! It’s just plain wrong!

Without the directors for Z it's a hard pass. They're gonna release Friday 2 a billion times.

What turns me off of this box set is the mismatch of movies in it. I don't really consider any of these movies to be remotely in the same category as any of the others. World War Z in the same box as Friday the 13th Part 2? If they were all at least close to the same year that would have been a plus. I'll Pass on this one

I think I might buy this for Breakdown alone. I’ve been a fan of Breakdown since I saw it in the Theater. J.T. Walsh was really good in this. I do think it’s a little out of place in this lineup, but I’ve wanted this movie on 4k for a while and I’ve never seen The Orphan sequel, so that’s a bonus.

I ordered this box set, especially because they said WORLD WAR Z HAD THE DIRECTOR CUT ON 4K... And even though I have BREAKDOWN Blu-ray collector edition that is going for over $100.00 Friday the 13th part 2, which I want in a nice 4k box set... So finding out that WORLD WAR Z DIRECTOR CUT IS ONLY ON BLU-RAY AND NOT ON 4K... I HAVE WORLD WAR Z DIRECTOR CUT ON BLU-RAY WITH MY 3D OF WORLD WAR Z... I HEARD A LOT OF BAD THINGS ABOUT THE SCREAM FACTORY COPY OF WORLD WAR Z 4K AND THAT THIS 4K IS THE SAME COPY... SO I CANCELED MY PARAMOUNT SCARES VOLUME 2 YESTERDAY... VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT WORLD WAR Z DIRECTOR CUT WASN'T IN 4K...

It’s a nice set but I have World War Z on 4k so that and my Friday the 13th box set and having the other 2 films on blu ray makes it silly for me to spend the money on movies I have. But it is nice.

Guys forget about the actual MOVIES themselves!? Who cares? When it’s got 4ks and pictures and cardboard! I want to buy this box set for that high you get when you get something in the mail, then put it on my shelf never to touch it again! Oh I’m so excited for the 20 seconds of dopamine rush I’ll get from opening the package! Then I’ll never watch the movies cus I didn’t care I just like to spend money on cardboard with useful stuff inside the cardboard like idk, movies, but I’m just interested in cardboard to sit on my shelf never to touch again! I’m so stoked for my 4k cardboard box! Oh wait, I’m already over it, I’m already looking at another overpriced box set of movies I’ll never watch but hey! The artwork is cool? I guess it’s worth it to someone not me but since it’s worth it to other people I’ll buy it.😂😂

Not a fan of boxsets. Only ever 1 or 2 films worth owning. This would just waste space on my shelf. These are made for folks who want to own anything and everything. I’m not that type of collector.

For the World War Z in this set, it does not have the Director's Cut on the 4K disc. This was the issue, if you will, with it already being released on the 4K format. They only put the Director's Cut on the Blu-ray. They should have put it on the 4K to make this set an added draw or interest. Just my thoughts, Ken. 16:35 I have the first 4 Friday the 13th movies in the Steelbook HD Blu-ray releases. Artwork is superb throughout. I have the Shout Factory Deluxe Edition box set coming. Goit it brand new for $117. WHY can't we get a NOES box set like THAT?? lol Come on!
