'Paranoia' is an animated short film made by 4 students as part of their final year degree project for Thakur-Toonskool Advanced Animation Academy.
Synopsis: A guy is traveling in a late night Mumbai local train. The bogie is empty except for a few sleepy passengers. A man with a briefcase boards the train at a station and decides to sit directly in front of him...

I always wonder why there isn't more detailed western style animation like this. It seems like only Japan wants somewhat anatomically correct animation styles

This is rotoscoped, that's why it looks so anatomically correct. Overall, animation is meant to exaggerate features and situations. if you want realistic, watch live action.

i remember when i avoided a car crash being drowned falling of a tall place being stabbed being accepted into a cult rape and robbery because of my paranoia it's honestly horrible to have it but it has saved my life many times

There is something beyond this animation. The feeling of aloness and regret, the anger and sadness, the personal memories and mass media articles. The point must be in search of the solution and this path of finding the safe spot is tricky. The impression of it is familiar until the moment of resentment after fear and agonizing anticipation before action.

This is amazing! Why hasn't this animation gotten much recognition back then, and over the years? It tackles some problems that are much more prevalent and relevant in the world today. Kudos to the person / people who did this

Someone somewhere once said that paranoia isn't thinking that everyone in the world is looking for an opportunity get you, that's just being realistic. Paranoia is thinking that they are cooperating in order to to get you. That everyone with a knife at your back doesn't have someone else behind them waiting for them to lower their guard...

What movie is related to this? Where a soldier/cop is "alive" in his dream, with his body decapitated. And was used by the police/military to find the antagonist. With the antagonist, he planted a bomb inside a train, onboard the protagonist, and with his lover, trying to find where the antagonist is. Later on, the protagonist found the guy in a white van. But still in his "dream".
