Who's here after hearing Valentino's official voice in the show?

Val might call himself overlord of lust. But if anything, he's the overlord of addiction. Drugs, alcohol, sex, and with his relationship to Vox, he's muscling in on TV and internet. He wants all vices and addictions under him. Asmodeus is the real king of lust, and he has no drive for anything not lust. But Val wants everything that addicts people. He wants to be king of his own sin. Addiction.

I hope vivzie realizes this guys talent for his Valentino voice and actually casts him as cannon voice it’s so amazing

Valentino is a perfect metaphor for addiction. People become addicted not over the thing itself, but the solution it provides, I.e. distraction from personal problems. If you attempt to get away from addiction, and assert control over it, it’ll hurt you. It’s funny that he’s a moth, as moths are characterized by going into electric shock traps because they cannot control their impulse to be with light, correlating with how addicts pursue their addiction regardless of the self destructive nature of it. Only by solving the problems that you’re trying to distract yourself from will get you away from addiction, as is the purpose of the hotel. I wonder what led Angel Dust to become an addict, and I wonder how Hazbin Hotel will provide the solution to it.

Now that was one helluva BOP! This song screams, practically *oozes* Valentino. His influence, his personality, his attitude towards those below him. Even Angel, his best star. Val is the KING of his domain and he will "flaunt" it to make that clear. The beat was catchy, had me moving my body to the rhythm throughout. Val's lyrics are full of pride and lust, always knowing just what to say to get what he wants, to get people "hooked". Angel's lyrics, he "know this song". I'm willing to bet his part is the words Val spoke to him, to lure him in to making a deal and sell his soul. He's done this song and dance, and when he tries to make his position worth while, Val comes in and squanders it. Angel might be the best, but Val is the one who made him the best, and he will always be there to remind Angel of that. Fantastic as always, DJ!

I just realized how ironic it is that Val is a moth and Angel is a spider--in the animal kingdom, Angel would be crunchin up on the moth o3o hopefully that metaphor is part of his storyline. ALSO I AM SO FLIPPIN' IMPRESSED WITH THESE LYRICS. YOU DID SO WELL! :O

The tone feels overwhelming, oppressive and aggressive, just like Val. It’s perfect for him

The way Angel is telling his own experience through the reasoning of Valentino just shows how often Angel has heard those deprecating words pushed onto him. Even though this one was supposed to be more 'fun', it has s lot of story and DAMN what a beat. Also I love how the guards were watching Angel perform Show and Tell, a fun little nod to that cover. The way you write lyrics is a new talent of yours I increase to admire. Thanks for yet another piece of art! This is stunning!

I never really took notice the crowd's chants of 'Valentino' at 4:45, while Val is talking to Angel but ever since I did, it's been the only thing I could hear, it's so...it's so catchy and goes so well with the song. just goes to show that Valentino really is the owner of this establishment, he can get a crowd calling for him even though Angel is his best performer.

After hearing Valentino's voice in the official series I can say with certainty that it was a crime that they didn't hire you to do it.

Valentino has more of a growl in your ear kind of voice, unlike Angels, whose kinda runs smoother with the music, but nicely done!

One of the digs is actually in Addict, you can see how much it annoys Val. 👀 Having a hardcore snarl in my ear isn't usually my type of music, but I keep coming back here, because the lyrics, the music, the dialogue, it's all so perfect. I will never stop loving Angel's voice either. 😌

The sound is exactly what a hook looks like, jagged, steely, abrasive, shiny, alluring but no disguising that hooks latch on to their prey and bat no eyelashes hurting what theirs.

I know Asmodeus is the Sin of Lust itself but...Valentino really does embellish that aspect for himself, his mortal experience dying and bringing his skills and exploitive content to hell really gives him an advantage over Asmodeus in Valentino's conquest.

I feel vaguely slimy after listening to this. It feels like a strange mix-match with Kesha and Linkin Park (Points of Authority specifically), and I think that's oddly fitting. I REALLY appreciate the callback to your previous works and the animation for Addict. Well done.

Omg Valeninto’s song is amazing! The way the voice went was definitely how he would tone, act, and even sound like. Even Angel being back singer was great as well! The boss himself did show everyone who’s the top pimp now.

Since VivziePop has seen PARANOiD DJ's work and did a song with him, i really hope she considers making Val's voice like this interpretation. Maybe it'l be his voice when he's going into full demon form, or its the result of some accident.

This is the only voice I can associate with Valentino now. Even if the actor they go with for the full show doesn't sound like this, Paranoid's style is what I'll hear. (Honestly I still hope they cast him as the voice actor.)

One of the things I noticed is that he quit saying ‘Yes Val’ and that got me excited because Angel has always responded that way to Val whenever he’s around

I like how you can hear Show and Tell in the background before Valentino walks in. It really drives the point home that Angel is just sentient merchandise.

The voice differences from this to the official series. Here it does sound seductive and gives off a good ambience. The official one is more smooth, and kinda does fit. I really like how we all have such different interpretations of Vals' voice. The majority of us imagine him having a deep, brooding bass-like voice.
