i know this song came out ages ago, but i really only fell in love with the idea of covering it after listening to chikafuji lisa's english cover ( • Parasite - DECO*27 (En... ) - that "it's all i need/you'd do it if you loved me" was just so so good, and while my original version had lyrics i wrote myself, i ultimately decided to use her lyrics as a homage in a way ;w; i'm terribly sorry i didn't ask first, please let me know if this is an issue!
uh. well. i sounded so pitchy during recording i sort of sat on it for a while until it was chosen for this month.
it was only because of vesen's masterful mixing and vocal edit work that you can hear it and not get hearing damage. or think less of me just by hearing it... tehepero
also, you may notice i took a few liberties with the lyrics i did write, and that's because i was inspired to do this cover after one of my friends broke up with his girlfriend. it was so messy and i heavily referenced some lines from the break up message in here (with his consent ofc). not too obvious but a fun little project xD
