*Lyrics below* [Chorus] Time to lighten up I don't plan to, I don't plan to Time I gave it up I don't plan to, I don't plan to [Verse 1] Every eye is on us Every side is on us Sing it with pride and promise Never cry, never cry But you know we like it honest You know that's why we bought you I like your style and all But do it right, do it in [Chorus] Time to lighten up I don't plan to, I don't plan to Time I gave it up I don't plan to, I don't plan to [Verse 2] I need it, I love it The music, the time it takes For the letter to write back Let it go, let it go 'Cause this is the final product Drink it a while and call us Sell it for dimes and dollars There you go [Chorus] Time to lighten up I don't plan to, I don't plan to Time I gave it up I don't plan to, I don't plan to

I might know why haha! Their label is Maison Kitsune, which is also a clothing brand. I guess they get their clothes for free from their label and maybe they are tailored as well :)
That's because the audio recording is properly mixed / corrected in a studio first before they add it to the video. Not saying they're not good, but this is why it sounds so perfect here.
@@chocofro3 Ugh, here we go. Yes, i read it. But there's still a huge difference between live and studio in terms of accuracy. This is studio accuracy. I've worked in artist management, have a studio and know quite a bit about audio engineering, so yeah...
@@djsoulchild So does my mom, and I learn stuff from her. But this isn't sound that is added on separately as a layover as you suggested. It could be mixed before they took their places and performed this but it is basically a live performance in these videos.
They are just extremely skillfull musicians... saw these guys a couple years ago at Fusion festivals in front of 20 people. They were 19 years old and played like they had been playing for 40 years. They really deserve the success
@@xristoskalandrias2834 what do you mean analog? You don't seem to get what that even means. If there's no mic you can't record anything, anolog is just the way the signal is processed, but first you need to record it with something.
These guys need to do a Tiny Desk Concert ASAP, they would blow up after that. They are most definitely one of the most underrated bands out there. Good stuff Parcels, keep it up.
As they are touring the USA on 2022, and they will stop on Seattle and Washington D.C., is quite probable they'll make KEXP live studio performance and Tiny desk
I think Colors should seriously host a concert for all the artists who are on their channel each year because alot of them are artists who deserve so much recognition. I think it would be so fun. That's a show I would love to see. Different songs different genres different artists. I'm sure alot of subscribers would pay to see that.
This song reminds me of a great friend who passed away, I found this video after he died and I just knew it was his type of music. Sure enough, he was following them on Instagram. I think of him every time I hear this song and it's a wonderful thing. R.I.P. Sam 💔
Parcels are an amazing group, but I have to give so many props to your mixing engineers. I've heard a lot of versions of this song and this is, by far, the best mix. Holy shit
