Hi Chris, I’ve just bought the ds 35 x 50 lrf. Can’t believe how good it is. Easily hitting targets out over 50 yards with BSA R10se in .22 and on its first outing a bunny ranged at 55 yards. Once it’s set up right it’s brilliant. Your video on setting up the 70 lrf was a huge help.
Hello. I ask you something that has me in doubt.. Both the ds 35 and this one come with 1 of their rings, in the part that goes to the picatiny rail an elevation to compensate Moas, do you know how many moas the value is? ..20 , 40?. Regards
Chris, is the scope suitable for .177 regarding the Ballisitic reading okay. I have heard, that it does not measure .177. Thank you for producing great no Fluff videos.
Great video Chris. I’m really looking forward to getting the DS-35-50 for my .22 Delta Wolf. Running the PARD NV 008P LRF on it right now. It should work great for my ratting. Any word yet on the availability of these?
I've just put a DS-35-50 940 (have rats that see the 850IR and bolt for it) on my .22 Weihrauch (Australian model). Buyer beware!!!! I'll give you the not so good bits people are not saying. I have been testing the Ballisitic Calculator. With all my parameters checked and triple checked, in my opinion, it does not work reliably from 5m to 15m. I cull rats in machinery spaces at factories. After 15metres and beyond yes go for it. The range finder works to the closest metre. The Pard008LRF rangefinder works to the closest half metre. The reticle selection on the DS-35-50 has gone backwards. Nothing resembles the mil dot type. Keep in mind this is my personal observation. But, if you hunt close range ask these questions? In the end I took it off and attached it to a .25 cal Impact which I think it would be more suited for. At this stage I would recommend it for ranges between 15m to 100m.
Seems to me that investing in a Pard 008, or maybe a DS35, is thrown away money. I have a 007 at the moment which helped me eliminate 78 rats yesterday evening in my recycling hall, at a distance of max 20-25 meters. If, for instance, I could gain more comfort I would maybe make a change, because the Pard 007 gives me more, after 3 hours of shooting a feeling Which could be compared with spending a night in a too small box… Greetings from Marc, Belgium.
Great video been looking for a nv scope for a while mainly for rats but possibly for rabbits and foxes .was looking at the 35-70 on Saturday If your going to run this one on a fac air rifle for ratting what benefits does the lrf bring surely if your shooting from say 5-30yrds on rats with an fac the trajectory must be pretty flat so is it worth the extra 100 quid
@@JayKTS I don't shoot anything for fun I shoot things for a specific reason. Foxes by request of the farmer because they are taking lambs, rats because they are scurrying all over the harvested wheat he sells on into the food market.
