As unrest continues in Haiti, many American families seeking to adopt Haitian children are unable to complete the adoption process and are facing multiple roadblocks. NBC News’ Fredlyn Pierre Louis spoke to parents worried that their children could be stuck in Haiti as the country continues to experience political chaos.

Yep, I was about to say that. So sick of people not focusing on and helping AMERICANS. I was never a Trump supporter, but over time, I started to understand what he really meant and stood for. Americans first!!!

Ik someone who adopted from Haiti four years ago and even then it took them nearly four years to bring them home. I thought they were being scammed cause the orphanage kept asking for money outside of adoption fees

your being lied to these kids have family and you are being conned. that is why you can't get them. stop thinking these kids are orphans, they are not

Worth noting: "adoptive" is used to refer to the parents and "adopted" to the kids. So, "adopted parents" is technically correct but could be confusing. "Adoptive parents" is the correct usage.
