It was the correct decision - banning those kids from the rowing regatta was way over the top. The penalty needs to be consistent for everyone. I mean, what if there wasn't a rowing thing to ban them from? The punishment has to be fair for all at any time, not when there is something particularly important to only a few, that these sociopaths can take away, & rub their hands in glee knowing how painful that would be. In the judges summing up, nowhere did he say the college couldn't punish these students. Schools used to beat students, but parents always had the right to prevent this, especially if they didn't control their children using violence. It is amazing the howls of protest there was, when corporal punishment was banned from schools, and I see the same thing is happening now toward these terrible - 'Luggage Carousel Riders', what is the World coming to... :)
