Except that the Greeks tend to restore their crumbling stucco surfaces whereas the Italians never seem to do any maintenance work on their buildings -I've noticed this when looking at videos of the back streets and canals of Venice for example -everything is crumbling away -and in lots of other towns as well!
Wow thank you so much for this video! What time did you film this? It looks very quiet at this time in the morning. Parga is our favourite place! We've been there a number of times including our honeymoon. We are going again in June and this is getting us in the mood!!!!
I am struck by how peaceful this quaint little town is...going at the end of August...can't wait! What I admire about Greece in general is that they didn't ruin their country with ugly tourist spots...they were wise enough to understand that tourists (decent ones) want to see the real Greece, not plastic towns like in Spain and Cyprus....thank goodness they didn't destroy their beautiful country!
Hi johntgr, After Parga we visited Corfu Island and we filmed a walking tour in its capital city. Stay tuned next week! It is a very beautiful island, you are lucky to live there.
