Winged prime and trygon looks like a great call! Found this crusher list online from one of the tourneys OoE+1 carnifex Swarmlord+3 tyrand guard 20 horms 5 barbgaunts 2 exos 1 mawloc 1 norn emmisary 1 screamer killer 2 rupture tyrannofexes

I'm guessing multiple Flyrants becomes a bit of diminishing returns, and that they are too flimsy when exposed (and the ambiguous LOS wordings). Still expensive in points for what they bring. I'd love to be proven wrong and would be great to see them used in a battle report! But I think we probably still need to be able to survive on the middle objectives to get the game winning points, either through resilience or redundancy. I saw a guy that has a 7-1 record with this (no idea of the quality of opponents): -1 Winged Prime (because you need a character) and he gives synaps to Trygon to have S10 -3 Maleceptors -3 Haruspex -3 Exocrine -3 Screamer Killer -1 Trygon for mission and scoring in enemy DZ -1 Pyrovore to hold the home objective Put Maleceptors with Haruspexes and Screamer Killers everywhere, many opponents can't deal with it. And while damage output is still shit, enough of it can work. Overwhelm them with all good to okayish datasheets we have for the cost now.

I feel like Norn Assimilators are quite spicy in Crusher, staged behind a ruin ready to burst through and smash something to pieces. If only a bit cheaper.

Not sure what you mean by Winged Hive Tyrants not being able to be seen. Even if it's wing is poking out from behind a ruin it can be targeted (I think). If not, can you let me know where I can find those rules please? Cheers.
