Just. Wow. X about a million. David Hawkins wrote about the spiritual significance of one earth master - ie Bodhisattva - upon the rest of us mere mortals in regular incarnations. One of these cats holds up millions and millions of souls in a very real way. This wasn't anything Hawkins invented, I think: rather, it was a truth he simply explained. Like Christ - his energy will never leave us and can be accessed via the help of many energies in angelic form, ones who are with us always. (Angel means messenger.) "Entering Parinirvana" is the Tibetan way of saying a great lama has entered final samadhi before leaving his body. And after his consciousness leaves his body, it is also the way of saying he has 'died'. Altho his consciousness has vowed never to leave this world for the sake of liberating other sentient beings and he will incarnate again, either in the realm of this relative world, or in another realm where beings are suffering. They consider 'death' to be like a vacation, plenty of time of remain in profound samadhi without having to worry about the body.

CHAKMA GURU : they have three enlightened bodies. They can reborn to the benefit the world and their other bodies can be in other places. They come and help and once their jobs are done, they will leave . They come in Samsara without fear, burden, without attachments and leave without attachments. That is why they are Bodhisattvas or enlightened beings. They have vows until Samsara ends, they will come back , but Samsara never ends that is why Avalokiteshvara is present to relieve sufferings if one has wisdom to seek him/her.

@@ChakmaNet brother there are three different enlightenments (Srawak Boddhi eg.Aarhant 2) Pratyek Boddhi eg. Pratyek Buddha 3) Samyak Samboddhi eg. Samyak sambuddha) .3) Samyak Sambuddha are those who take vow to be completely enlightened and to blossom all qualities in order to be a teaching machine , so that he can teach and benifit innumerable beings.And for that one has to go 10 bhumi (stages) ,every stage is an enlightened stage ,strong compassion is the only thing that keep there mind stream with samsara. This is how Sakyamuni Buddha too practiced ,he has capacity to became "Aarhant" at the time of Dipankara Buddha itself but rather then being enlightened himself he took a great vow to become Samyaksambuddha in order to benifit innumerable beings during his Boddhisatva to Samyaksambuddha journey.It is said that after he was given profecy (Byakaran) by Dipankar Buddha ,it took him 4 innumerable(60 zero behind is called innumerable) and 1 lakh eons according to Pali cannon to became a Samyaksambuddha.

Living meditation practitioners, ordinary laypeople, who are absorbed in the jhanas when hooked up to EEG and ECG show no pulse and no brain activity. I'd say a person who can do this thukdam meditation, they probably won't have any brain activity at the time they are in that state.

Profound samadhi at that time precludes physical decomposition. Yogis can remain in that state for years if they want to and it is considered to be very desirable since they don't have to worry about the body anymore. They can do a lot of work on a more subtle level of consciousness without disruption. Many western students have also attained this state and held it for several days. Anyone can, if you have done the preparation.

Its not kept upright but when a high lama like him approaches death , they themselves mediate in this position . They are not to be touched and themselves shrink into little to none sometimes leaving nails and bone and they don't even rot or smell

Some meditate in meditation poster some meditate while in sleeping poster but to know if the master is in Thukdam or not is that there body doesn't start rotting and doesn't have stiff mortis for 1 days ,3 days,7, 10 some upto 45 days.

The faster thukdam ends the faster you will realize. The longer thukdam doesn't mean you are great.

The heart area usually remains warm, very warm, until the samadhi is finished. And the scientific community does not reject this evidence of control, by the way.

To clarify using the body as a temple after departure facilitates the process of re-birth (skipping or spending less time in the bardo). However after entering complete annihilation such as my master taking rebirth becomes much more difficult, problematic or complex such as instead dividing into many manifestation.
