Notre-Dame was a marche de Noel that I did not know of, and it was tres beautiful, merci for showing it. Tuileries--- not what I remember, its very Las Vegas neon now, and you're new camera did TO good a job with the vivid colors... 😵💫
I like to travel to Italy and France from the end of October to the 15th or 20th of November. There are less tourists and lines. Airfare and hotel rates are lower. I appreciate cooler weather, that's especially important since not all hotels have AC. The parks in autumn are lovely. It's truffle season, and sometime around the 15th - 20th of November, I can catch a Christmas market and some beautiful Christmas storefronts. Most of Italy and the South of France will still be rather warm and sunny, and so what if it may rain a day or two in Paris? Bring a warm coat and gloves, get a lightweight travel umbrella. Look at the weather forecast and on a rainy day, visit a well appointed salon de thé, a museum, the covered passages, go perfume shopping, or do a wine tasting. Depending on your budget, you might also find a classical music concert at a church, or a jazz club, or attend a ballet or opera at the magnificent Palais Garnier. The season starts around mid September ❤
