Exactly. It's like comparing apples to oranges with Paris being a celebrity and Carter's cousin not being a celebrity. Totally different kind of wedding. I'm sure Paris felt way more obligated to have this HUGE wedding because of her being Paris Hilton. Carter's cousin lives in small town Michigan and not going to be blasted on every single gossip magazine in the country. Talk about pressure. I feel so horrible for her. Nobody listens to her at all and she doesn't have anyone in her life without an agenda. I just want to hug her and tell her it's ok.

I agree with you and I thought at first that Carter was good for her but now watching some episodes with the passive-aggressive ness he isn't the one for her also if you look carefully he isn't caring about her in a sensitive considering manner, money isn't everything .

We become one parent and marry the other. It's all in an attempt to heal. Apparently the best relationships are those between two people who look at least 70 % alike. That's why sometimes you see a couple and they look like siblings. 😆🥰👍

@@professionalcommenter no i don’t think he is gay. I really can’t put my finger on it but I feel like h knows exactly what to say to get what he wants. Kind of like manipulation but with kindness. He just has this energy that rubs me the wrong way. She’s super sweet and doesn’t want to disappoint anyone so I think he knows how to use that to his advantage. I’m not saying he is a bad person but his vibe is off to me.

@@69Fabulosity yes and he knows she doesn’t want or need his money, that’s why he’s so pushy about the wedding. He has his own empire but he doesn’t want a woman that will take from him. He defiantly has money on his mind and marrying her puts him in a better position. I just hope he doesn’t try to control or brainwash her. I wish them the best in love and life but she needs to watch for red flags with him. He is gonna put a baby in her real quick to seal the deal.

Yeah I agree. Absolutely love Paris but absolutely hate the baby voice. Like nails on a chalkboard. She said she was going to stop but she never did. I'm guessing it's her coping mechanism from childhood. Whenever she's nervous or scared or upset she automatically falls into it to either soothe herself or make herself appear more docile and submissive. Even so it's super annoying and I wish she would just stop already. Literally no one likes it or thinks it's cute. I mean she's gonna be 40 talking like a baby.... 😬🤦‍♂️

If I had to guess, Paris will not feel comfortable visiting in Michigan. She's used to L.A. and the Hamptons, where the Rich lives. No sugar coating anything, just the truth. You only feel comfortable in your own territory!!

​@@debbiec6216 The culture around Michigan and the Mid-West is built around social trust and bringing people together. It's vey different than Malibu and Hamptons which is based on non stop competition, very little social trust etc. There is still innocence and in person community in many parts of the midwest without tons of social hierarchy. Where Paris is from life is about constant competition, flexing and status. I kind of feel like it makes kids bitter because they're not allowed to just exist and enjoy life without having to constantly prove themselves. Culturally it attracts different people for sure. I find way more community events and people invest in towns/events more. I find the northeast to be more lonely and isolating. I find midwesterners have a genuineness and make eye contact which I find scary but truly awesome. The fact that she called it "the simple life" there is a patronizing attitude. I agree that in America it's good to have plenty of money but people always should come first and money rules the coasts.... I'd love for people to discuss this further as I find regional differences/personalities fascinating. I think everyone lives in their own bubble so no place is more of a bubble than others. Carter however is probably more grounded having no come from money and then become a mulitmillion/billioinaire? So he wants to experience a more middle class life. Not true for Paris. THey're going to have cultural clashes with the way their children are raised. I don't see how it's a bad compromise to spend 3 months a year in the wealthiest part of Michigan and the rest wherever Paris wants. Obviously Carter wants his kids to have a very nice lifestyle but growing up with $$$ doesn't make you immune from problems, just a bit condescending of people from different income classes. People in the midwest also don't have huge egos which is nice as their a bit more humble and don't like to show off. Though plenty of people have big $$$ there....

Publicly humiliate is a STRETCH. She's surrounded by family not the public. And family playfully teases each other... its not that serious. Also, maybe Paris needs a little Kickstart to get her moving on all the stuff she needs to get done and this way gets results. Weddings are super stressful to plan, especially ones like this that are extremely big, expensive, and televised. And that's another thing... they're making a TV show. He's gotta kinda Amp it up and do things for the camera to get a reaction out of her and the viewers. It's obviously worked based on your comment and all the replies to you.
