I think you're right. Nicki always seems to be watching out for Paris, trying to protect her from anyone trying to harm her, even if that person causing harm is Paris herself. She seems to shoot it straight with her. It's probably extremely beneficial for Paris to have her as a sister.

The mother reminds me a bit of my own. Women tend to get a bit negative and sour as they get older. The incident (kidnapping to horrid school) when Paris was a teenager was probably just a result of her parents now knowing how to handle her.
No wonder Paris has had to work so hard to establish her independence. I dont think Paris Problem is getting kidnapped, I think she has a toxic mother. And one day she will wake up to it. Your parents staring at you while being kidnapped, just not okay in my books.

Kathy is old fashioned and more of tough love. Paris is just unruly and disorganized so they will really clash. Kathy is still reasonable here to be honest..wait till you meet my annoying and overbearing mother. I am Asian so having parents like her are normal and as seen in the comments, most i think are Caucasians and just fans of Paris and who cant see any wrong.

I have always had sympathy for Paris and how she is treated by her mother when watching the show. It’s not always like this, I mean typical mom and daughter relationship. But Even her sister noticed her frustration, doesn’t help how her mom is acting and her comments doesn’t make the tension any better. Tbh I am annoyed for her. No wonder she looks unhappy like she’s about to cry. At times you can see the frustration and how over whelmed she actually is in her face, wonder how much she holds in?
Paris finds the chillest dogs in the world. So many small dogs in my neighborhood are hyper and loud. If you have a smol chilled beans Paris will buy it from you I swear.
