Each summer for the past years, Yoth and I spend the first week of our July vacation in Paris on a skate trip. Due to everything that's going on, that trip won't be happening this year. Instead, I edited this fun video full of memories from the first day of that trip.

age - 22 years old from the 16th of february (from 1998 since i always forget to update this)
country - belgium.
languages - i normally speak dutch. obviously also english and my french should be pretty good. had some german classes in uni but only technical german.
longboarding since - summer of 2012.
studies - just graduaded from my master of electromechanical engineering the day of uploading this video :))
filmmaking since - i was probably around 10 years old when i bought my first camera.
favorite music artist - eminem. also listening a lot to j-cole, logic, joyner lucas, g-eazy, ...
favorite movie director - q. tarantino and c. nolan

retrospec is selling them for only $60!! i got mine a while ago and they are such good quality! some of the skaters at the park are really surprised when i tell them how cheap it was

Hey Hans I've been longboarding for a few months now but there's one thing that I'm trying to get used to. Its landing on my board after any sort of kickflip or no-complys. How do you guys keep the board under you so well? I cant a single video on ways to get it down or practice it so I was wondering if you have any tips on it. P.S. I love your videos, the cinematography is beautiful and the little subtitles are hilarious

Thanks a lot! One BIG tip is to keep your shoulders above the board as you pop your tricks. This keeps your board more underneath you and thus helps in landing on it, instead of the board doing the right thing but flying out away from you. Hope that helps, maybe I’ll try making a video on that tip specifically, it’s a very common thing. Have fun!

Try bigger (65mm - 70mm) wheels and softer wheels (lower than 84A) in general. That’ll help a lot. Also, you can put “truck risers” to further dampen out the vibrations
