100% . I was born and raised in Paris, these girls go from line 9 to line 6, sometimes line 1 (basically the lines with most traffic). Sad that they resort to using young girls (from 13-15 and older) to doing those kinds of stuff… Best you can do is go warn the metro driver (all the way front of the metro when it’s driven manually like on line 6, and the driver will warn the passengers by broadcasting a message on speakers)
Maybe that's the only way to make a living? Are they not allowed to work in Paris? Gypsies are given work visas by the government? Maybe it's the government fault to accept these people from Eastern European countries.

nothing's changed, i visited Paris in 2001 and 1 girl was holding the train door, another stood by my mom with a shawl placed in way that covered her bag, the girl was actually going through my moms bag while we stood near the door holding the railing and it was quite packed, then suddenly a french gentleman sitting opposite where we stood started admonishing the thieves and ponited to my mom wats happening, then in a split second she jumped out while the other girl let go of the door, lucikly nothing was taken, but already managed to open the purse inside the bag, but couldnt take the cash which was even further inside
@@suzzanimalchannel1030 The first day I was scared but after that I just walked around the city without any reason to worry. Just check where your bags are. Keep them in front of you. And if you travel by metro, just stay against a wall with your back. Don't grab your phone in the metro of busy spots. I had a wonderfull week in Paris. Didn't even noticed any pickpocketers honestly. But I could've missed them. Hopefully y'all are going to have a great time in Paris! :)
We should ban visiting European countries and the UK and let the governments fix the issues with pick pocketing. I just got back from France, the thief got to my cousin, and I saw many Asian tourists getting pickpocketed 🤬
Governments don't fix problems. They create them (or allow them to exist and turn a blind eye) as then they can sell the "solution" (which never comes) as their next election campaign promise. Trump is the only exception to this, which is why the powers that be despise him.
