Hi, i am from Paris myself : one of my friend came from China, it's been 5/6 years since she arrived in Paris, and she was telling me how hard it is to make French friends. As a parisian myself, i see we are pretty closed off - we have this reputation in France. A lot of students just come to class and leave immediatly after, also once you have a friend or a group of friend, it's true that you don't really seek other encounter ( i generalized, i know). The best way to make university friends is at party, but i'm not sure about real true friendship, depends of the person i guess
