I grew up in the 16th, lived on Avenue Victor-Hugo, my aunt lives just behind St James, Rue Spontini. You picked a great family neighbourhood .. just mind the dog spillings. I wish you a super stay in Paris!!!

Attending an exhibit like Rothko can be a once in a lifetime experience. I saw Picasso.Mania and then the Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun exhibit at the Grand Palais. I’ll never forget it. ❤

Everyone is different. I’d gotten advice about jet lag to Europe from several friends. Each had their own take. What we found worked best for us is to drop everything at the hotel upon arriving in the morning hours, taking a walk to familiarize ourselves with the area, get something to eat that was familiar…nothing exotic, then go back to the hotel to take a nap. Then we’d get up to dress for dinner and walk around for a while to throughly wake up before stopping somewhere for dinner. Walked around more after dinner then back to the hotel to go to bed. Next morning we felt so much better, so it’s become our norm when traveling abroad. Some people say stay up until early evening then go to bed, but we tried that and we felt worse.

I just love that you are makeup interested but not makeup obsessed. You take such good care of your skin, you don't need makeup and when you do use it, its for enhancement. Very French of you actually, LOL.

Lóved the Paris vlog!! For us Paris is only 2,5 hrs by train. Le Bon Marché, mais oui!! Do you know it's the oldest shop in Europe? Ànd it's designed by Gustave Eiffel, yes from the.....At the back you walk into l'Épicery, did you go there?.Àll the food (and drinks) from all over the world! Can't wait for Finland! The Rothko exhibition part - I actually teared up. If you know his story and how he created the Seagram murals…and to see his creations within one large exhibition, only if via vlog… and relive the Paris experience… just so emotional. It’s amazing that you could actually make it to this art show, and visit mesmerizing Paris , across continents- this is something to really appreciate and cherish…. 🌹 Thank you for sharing, Michele, as always!

In one of my trips to Paris, I stayed in the same hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, I love the wallpaper in the room, and when touching it, it felt like a soft cloth. I enjoyed the gym and the spa. Everything was so beautiful and enjoyable ❤

Loved your room, it would have been hard for me to leave that beautiful room. Your filming is spectacular, you make it look easy but I know this all requires great skill. I know places like Bon Marche have their own atmosphere, but I don't quite understand shopping for worldwide/luxury brands that are also available at home while in a different country. Yes, you can benefit from exchange rate/varying local prices differences, but is it really worthwhile and joyful shopping? Next time you're in Paris (or anywhere else), maybe also try checking out the smaller, local, independent shops from local makers with incredible stuff that, as a bonus, will be one of a kind, memorable and not stuff from global brands that every other influencer has anyways...

I just got back myself. We might have missed each other by a day or so. I’m on PST and it was a struggle to get turned around but gosh do I love Paris. I went through a lot of this: all day eating and rallying to make the most of it even though I felt in a deep fog sometimes. Fun to relive some of the experiences art, Caviar, Michelin star restaurants. Americanos and Croissant through your vlog but actually our overall itineraries didn’t cross over much. Goes to show how much there is to see! Hope you’re enjoying Finland!

Thank you for vlogging and taking us on your journey😊....I'm by far the least artistic, I have no creativity whatsoever so I never understand the paintings with just blocks of color...I don't understand how they represent anything other than a rectangle or 2 of color,I don't understand how art like that gets recognition when it seems like anyone could paint a stripe of orange and yellow,etc....again from someone with no artistic ability whatsoever,I'm obviously missing the meaning.

I saw Rothko in Tate Modern. No video/photos will ever give credit to these poetic, majestic masterpieces. They are also beautifully displayed there - the walls are dark, light is dim. People are focused and quiet. LV seems very crowded, but it's definitely great to be there! U guys have a great trip!

I am taking thorough notes -- we are planning a trip to Paris next winter and I am going to reserve a room at the St. James (my kind of place). This was so relaxing and reminds me of how beautiful Paris is. I am also planning to figure out what to wear, based on your experiences. I have never been there in the winter. That Rothko exhibit was beyond a dream. I had a Rothko print in my co-op in NYC that got lost in the move to LA. I now want one again. Excited about the next part of this journey.
