The positive about the nurse visiting you in your home to change your bandage is that you aren’t sitting in a waiting room full of people. That’s especially important at this time of year when the flu and other viruses are more active.

I mean I would have personally gone to an art supply store and bought a heavy duty stapler. I'm an artist and I have one that I've had for probably 20 years and the staples are very thick and tall and would totally work with that garland.

Yes, trust yourself. You know what you need. I love when you cook French recipes. I learn new thing to make myself. Your daily vlogs are so interesting! Take care of your health and your finger. Glad you didn’t show it to us! It’s amazing you have a nurse come to your house to change your bandage! We in the US always have to return to the Doctor’s office for that.

I love those wall trees too. They're so convenient for apartment living. You could try using floral wire to twist-tie the garland to the wood.

They likely left an opening in your skin in order to allow the infection to continue to drain out. If they closed it up, you’d have continued infection and it wouldn’t heal.

You translating Jean's description of your finger just makes me more curious about your finger. 😂

You dont buy a plastic tree when you live in an appartment in Paris 😂😂😂 Unless u have a cellar to go with it where u can stock it. Its either a true one, a baby one or none at all.

I can't help but wonder where else this happens in your life..I would love to see you trust yourself a bit more. You knew you needed larger staples. And yet you followed the advice of a guy who was WRONG & now you will need to make an extra trip to return what doesn't work & get the correct size which you already knew when you bought the wrong size. Trust that when you know something you actually do know. This is such a female thing. Also--Plastic tree? Never. Check out some of the places where they are selling harvested trees & see if you can pick up some branches trimmed off of someone else's tree for free or very inexpensively. Be creative. There are lots of ways to construct some sort of Christmas Tree with these branches. No land fill problem, no danger posed to animals who might investigate & even try to eat the plastic.Trees can be grown. Dead Christmas trees don't harm the earth.
