Loooooooooooovely!! Who disliked this tutorial? You have patiently taken viewers step by step. You simplified he process just by patiently explaining and taking the viewers through the steps that are so easy to follow. Fabulous!! I will DEFINITELY make this one. Thank you.
Jill, this piece is beautiful and I find myself anxious to get started on one. You are an EXCELLENT teacher. The tips you give are unmeasurably valuable, such as using a seed bead on either side of the bicone in the closure to protect the thread. This knowledge comes with experience and often in learning by more difficult means. I appreciate you sharing these things with us so we can avoid that disappointment of a broken piece. Have a wonderful day.
It's my all-time favorite bracelet! Barbi would be thrilled. Made this bracelet a few years ago as a gift. Stepped away from beading for a few years, and now looking at your videos again for inspiration. ❤ Thank you Jill !
Your comment on making a minor error: "If anyone's looking THAT closely they're invading your personal space and need to back it up." OMFG. That Is BRILLIANT!!! I. LOVE. That attitude on minor errors and I have GOT to remember that! Seriously, I have been fighting with the OCD need to rip up pieces just because of a minor error like that for YEARS but, you are soooo right! That is, just beyond right. From this point forward, I swear that I am going to chant that to myself from now on and just keep going: "If anyone's looking THAT closely, they're invading your personal space and need to back it up....." Thank you!!!
Dear Jill, you give very clear videos! I truly appreciate your shots to make sure your viewer sees what you are doing, and not the back of your hand. I'm looking forward to more videos- keep up the good job.
I've made 3 now, they are beautiful and everyone loves them. I watch a ton of jelwery making videos and yours are by far the best. You explain everything and show steps perfectly! Thanks and I look forward to more!!
Thank you so much for the teaching !!! This is a BEAUTIFUL bracelet ! I have made others that you have taught me and everyone loves them! I will now start this one. I love having you here if I have a problem, Thank you again.
I've been dedicating myself to learning bead weaving for the past few months. I've watched lots of tutorials. This is by far the clearest. One other thing: THANK YOU for not doing jump cuts! Nothing is more maddening that trying to follow along with a tutorial, and suddenly the video jumps to a step beyond where I'm working. I find myself hitting "pause" a million times, or rewinding over and over. Grrr!
Jill, thank you so much for your videos. Not only are your designs beautiful, but I appreciate your succinct teaching style. Your lessons are very easy to follow along and duplicate.
You are extremely good at explaining the method. I especially appreciate the way you warn of potential mistakes and distinguish between errors that matter and those that don’t.
I just have to tell you how much I enjoy your tutorials. Your instructions are so clear. The jewelry beautiful. Easy to follow for a beginner like me that has only strung beads before. thank you so much. And at the risk of sounding utterly obnoxious, your pace is perfect and voice pleasant. The camera steady. ;) Thank you so much!
Thank you for being very thorough with explaining how to make these bracelets. Usually people that do these types of videos don't explain with enough detail.
I just watched this video again, I have forgotten how gorgeous this bracelet is. Thank you Jill, I don't know why I didn't make it the first time I saw it.. but today I will seat down and have me some great time making it and then, an ever more fun wearing it.
This is a great update on the first video! Clear and concise!! I am not a beginner nor an expert, but find this recipe and instructions imminently doable! And such a beautiful result from the project, with infinite options. thanks so much!
First-time watcher ... love this bracelet and your teaching style. I think it's about time I got serious about my long-standing desire to make jewelry! Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful! I must say I have a favorite RU-vid beading instructor that I always go to first when I want to start a new project. I love not only all of her projects but also her taching style. After watching you I think I have a new fav instructor. I have not even been to see what other projects you have shared yet. This bracelet is beautiful and easy because you know how to teach. You are very clear and precise and point out some "not to dos" that you have done and try to help others to make those same mistakes. I appreciate those little tips and tricks. I am definitely an eager student and can't wait to do this project and see and do whatever ones you already have and ones yet to come. Thank you for taking the time to make these. I look forward to seeing my family's reactions when they receive this as a gift. I understand why folks sell their work. You are awesome!
Well, I am back to say this is STILL the most beautiful bracelet and I am on my 4th!!! It truly looks like a million dollar piece of jewellery...thank you Jill!
definitely making bracelets as a gift to the women in my life this xmas. This is the BEST instruction video I've encountered tonight. great quality and so easy to follow for a beginner
Hi Jill, I've made a few of these, changing bead shapes and sizes...your video really makes it easy to understand as well as understand how to adjust bead counts for different size beads. I've been using your tutorials to learn about beading and the different stitches, and I'm so appreciative of your thorough videos. I've learned so much! I'm such a newbie but my work doesn't look like a beginner at all. Thanks so much!!
Hi Jill! I think you are a very good teacher. Easy to listen to and easy to understand. I can't wait to try this bracelet. Thank you for posting your videos!
I love this pattern! I have made many in different colors. My favorite was using pearls instead of crystals. I used pink 6mm in the center and white 4mm on the edges, with silver 11/0s. I plan on stuffing a lot of stockings with bracelets this Christmas. Thanks for the very clear tutorial!
How refreshing to see the artist! I am so used to people creating artwork like this and never seeing the artist! I love you work and I will be watching many more video's! This is the first I have seen that you have done and I think it marvelous! Thank you for sharing!
This is one of my favorite beading tutorials. From one instructor to another, well done Jill. Thank you for your generosity. God bless you with many more years of teaching and sharing of your talents.
New to this craft and just found your vlog! Love this project and can't wait to try it! I love your easy going and calm way of teaching!!!! Some peoples way of teaching, leave me worn out and stressed because I can't keep up with them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!✝️
I’ve been working on Bracelet and it’s for me , so I’ll share soon on Facebook with your name and videos to follow ,I’m proud of it . I used curated Bead products. Thank you again for sharing ! 🥰❤️🤟🏻💋 Ms Hunt in Jacksonville, Florida. Taught me at 7 years old to Crochet 🧶 and I didn’t know she wrote a Book in the 70’s on Beading ,crocheting jewelry! Just want to say that , thank you Jill
I love your way to make your Bracelets and I like the way you get your Bead sitting in that round loop I would love to how to make one I have a problem by putting bees all over the table in certain areas thank you very much Ellen Evans👍🌹👋
Wow! That bracelet is gorgeous! I am not ready to start making jewelry yet. But I have inherited a whole bunch of boxes and cases and containers of beads and accessories and wires and so on and so forth from a person who is/was very dear to me and I have been searching for video's to learn from... Thank you for sharing your gift of art.
I've always wanted to do beads and enjoy my creations that you show on u - tube, so now I can, with people like you showing me is really great. Thank you and happy holiday🌹🌹🌹
Loved how you showed how to correct piece if too small or too large. I wish every stitch could be done that way. I either get my bracelets too large or too small. Thanks!
I tried to make this the other night. I became frustrated with it as I thought it was hard to make. So I pulled it apart and put the materials away. Tonight I decided to watch you make it then I replayed your video and low an behold we made a lovely bracelet. Thank you. I look forward to making more jewelry with you.
I have loved making this bracelet and owe you much gratitude. I experimented and rather than using bicones I used 4mm Swarovski Pearls for a softer look and found some nice round, strong magnets which not only work well but also counterbalance the piece well on the wrist and keeps the body of the piece centered. I wanted to share this with you Jill. Again thank you Cheryl
Wow, this is gorgeous, sublime. I couldn't blink, it was so beatuiful. Excellent tutorial for beginners. It looked so difficult but you took me step by step, with closeups. It was easy to follow, well explained and you were always smiling. Thanks for sharing. xxx
A bit big for Barbie I think, but it would make a great earring :D Thanks for sharing! I think this is easy enough to follow....there's always pause and rewind if you miss something. Thanks for NOT putting background music in. I find those tuts hard to follow and I am usually to busy trying to read captions so I miss watching the project. Thanks again and God bless.
This is a great tutorial! I don't do threaded bead work anymore, but can appreciate this tutorial for being very succinct. Beautiful work, thanks for sharing!
I am impressed and appreciative! Truly one of the BEST tutorial videos that I've come across - not too slow to be boring, not too fast that I have to re-play over & over. You keep it simple while not making me feel incompetent (thank you!) I've been looking for an idea for my teenage granddaughter and I to do - this will be beautiful Christmas gifts for Mom, aunts, best friends THANK YOU so much!
For my first bead threaded bracelet I wanted to try this tutorial. Thank you for putting this tutorial out there so I could make this beautiful bracelet. This is so elegant. I will be making these for years to come. Here are my first two bracelets. The purple hued one was my first, the green one was my second. Love them both, thank you again. Sorry not able to add my pictures for some reason. But they came out beautifully.
Thank you. I agree with others when they say how much your tips and explanations add to the tutorial. I always learn something new when I visit your tutorials.
I just love your channel. This is the first bracelet that I made. Also love the Ogalala bracelet. I have done that one 2 ways, one sleek and one with 5 beads. Thank you for being so easy to understand and follow. Great job Jill!
Well explained, I like the way this tutorial is done, I can see you and see your hands at the same time, last but not least, your voice is clear and nice!
Am at home recovering from surgery on my back so have LOADS of time on my hands. This is just the nicest project to keep me busy. THANK YOU so much.for a fantastic tutorial. Helen
Thank you so much for your tutorials. I have to let you know that I was not a beader until I stumbled across your Parisian Lights Bracelet tutorial. I have now done tons and others as well. You have truly inspired me and introduced me to a new world. Thank you.
I love this bracelet so much. Thank you for a great tutorial. This design was the first weaving project I did way back when. I have been thinking about making more. And guess what?! The video popped up. Thank you so much, Jill. I appreciate your great.teaching skills and camera work. Valerie
I made this bracelet a few weeks ago. i used peacock colored freshwater pearls with 11/0 matte metalic plum teal iris miyuki beads and 3mm bicones in a dark violet color. I also added a second layer of the outer edge which made a ruffled edging. I tried to capture in a picture but it did not do it justice. This is beautiful bracelet. Thanks for the tutorial.
After watching this a few times just to familliarise myself with the design, I so have a big order of different coloured seed beads, going to be busy making all different colours. Love this and so does my brain!!
Absolutely the best teaching video Jill! Your work is always Beautiful! Hope to give this a try thank you so much for all you do for your subscribers! Hugs Liz ❤
Hi Jill, I really love your Parisian Lights Bracelet. I think you have just turned me on to my next great adventure. It is December 18, 2013 and I have 13 nieces, wish me luck on finishing them. WOW!!!
I am very very late to the party, but I just found you via "Joyful Expressions" blog and ordered the Parisian Lights kit after watching the video. I just completed the bracelet and absolutely love it!! Your tutorial and printed directions were very clear. The only issue I ran into was what to do when I ran out of my "wingspan" of Fireline thread. I did figure it out and it was close to what you did in the ending and knotting of the thread. (I probably should have watched more videos before jumping in!) I am so happy with the bracelet and your quality products and instructions. diana in Illinois .
I love this project!!! I have never weaved ... wove... ;-) beads before -- I thought it was too difficult, but your demonstration was great! I will definitely try this. Thanks so much!
Jill I was able to make your bracelet from your tutorial. You are an excellent instructor. I had to go back and relook many times. This was the first bead weaving bracelet I ever made, I worked on it several days, nothing like your speed. However, I made the loop a bit big, some of my thread was showing so I am going to start all over and redo it. The next time I am going to do the ends last , so if they should break they can be redone. The bracelet and the colors I chose turned out beautifully and my daughter has dibs on it. I have seen several tutorials where your name has been mentioned. Thanks a bunch!
Beautiful bracelet! Thank you so much for sharing the pattern. You make it look so easy! I am inspired to make this bracelet for myself and I love your idea of making bracelets to give as gifts!
Jill, I love this bracelet. Following along with you I made this with blue pearls and blue bycones. I am new at beading and found your video so easy to understand. Thank you.
