Glad to see you and your family all healthy and back out enjoying life again. Life and family are the greatest gifts. Never take any of it for granted. Happy Hunting
Seeing the kids around you while you hunt, took me back when I bought a new detector, I got permission to hunt on this old lady's house . House was built back in 1895, I could see her watching me and Everytime I got a signal and started to pull up a plug, she would be standing over me, no matter what I found she would reach down to remove it from my hand, saying that belongs to me!! I quit hunting and said thank you for letting me practice metal detecting with my new detector! She was upset with me quitting! What I did find under that big oak tree, two silver spoons, one silver knife, three pennies, two nickels (dated 1905-1907) one quarter (1909) cast iron car and motorcycle toys! BTW this was in 1972 and she was 80 years old. Enjoyed your hunting and what I call GOOD finds.😀✌️
@rogarmadz oh wow! I can picture that! I've had kids get so excited and grab targets out of our sand scoop! Sounds like she was ready to go detecting with you. lol Those are some really cool finds!
I am so sorry to hear about life getting in the way of fun but, it seems you all came out the other side OK. The gold chain was a super cool find. Blessings to you and your family.
Awesome hunt and even better when you find gold! Up on the UP detecting. Found a key date Candian silver 5 cent piece from 1915. Keep on hunting and I will be back at the park I found a 1874 Indian cent next week. Wish we could join up.
Good finds and good times. I hope everything's getting back to normal for you guys. We're going through a few things ourselves. I changd jobs, so hopefully, I'll be home every day and home on weekends, so it would be nice to get out and enjoy life a little bit. The other thing is to keep your kids close because the unthinkable could happen in a moment. I don't know if it made it on the news by you but recently there was a attempted kidnapping of a child in Sterling heights. And hours before that he tried to get a 16 or 17 year old girl in Clinton Township. But the one that happened in Sterling Heights was my daughter, grandson, and my grandsons cousin.
Life has been crazy this summer. Sounds like it has been for you also! Sounds like it will be a good change for you! That's super scary! The world is so crazy! I'm glad that everyone is okay!
Well done getting in the water,it takes some time to adjust to digging targets..but I find its more rewarding.. Well done on the chain, always check with magnet thetes a lot of fake ones.. I believe the ring us old silver from the 70s.. Rap it in aluminium paper an add boiling water, for cleaning.
Well done. You guys are too young for health issues and surgery. Knock that stuff off. Congratulations on the necklace, I just liked and subscribed. Take care.
Did you weigh the gold chain? If, say, it weighs 10 grams then 10 grams of 14k at 58.3 percent gold gives you 5.83 grams of pure gold with a current melt value of about $455.00. I figure you know this but _so many_ people out there do not realize the value of gold. I bought a heavy 18kt chain priced at $150 at a garage sale because it was broken. The ladies son realized it was valuable but had no idea how valuable. I didn't argue I just gave her $150 for what is currently $880 worth of gold. You never know.
@@RachelsAdBentures I'm sure that chain weighs a "bit" more than 10 grams. 😉 I forgot to say thank you for taking me with you all. You had a pretty doggone good hunt! lol
@@RachelsAdBentures sweet! I have a treasure box. If I ever need it it's sort of like a savings account that gets higher interest that I only have to put a little fun into instead of much money. Then I even make a little of that money back in coins. lol Keep swinging, you all. It's the looking that's the best part.
