Anita Subramaniam true but Rap Mon is the only one who knows engliah, however, in SNSD, you barely hear Taeyeon talk even though her English is pretty good. Usually an English speaker does in English interviews unless you have no english speaker. In twice, I usually see mina talk even though I am not sure whether she is fluent. I heard she is and maybe she us us just hiding it.

she has lived in the USA since she was 8 years old. and then came back during college to become a singer in Korea. she's what we call 1.5 generation Korean-American (I am also 1.5 gen Korean-American: it's when you immigrate as a child and not born there-- immigrate as an adult = 1st generation; born there = 2nd generation +)

Jenny Park is what Bom went by in US. She went to school there since the sixth grade I believe. So it's not wonder her English is so good. A lot of people probably don't realize that Bom also attended Berklee School Of Music as well. I always like to point that out to the haters which think they know her lol. :)

Because she did grow up in the US. She studied at Berklee. She returned to Korea to become a singer after her dream of being a soccer player fell through.

That girl is beyond, BEYOND adorble!!!! I hope she does whatever is best for her well being. Whether it's coming back to the kpop scene, or doing her own thing. Yes she kinda forced it with the plastic surgery but that's why the Kopp world does to you. I can't imagine the pressure she was put under to do all that stuff. Her english very fluently i think..Just she not focus in grammar..but CL mostly like using grammar when she talk in english. It because she used to stay in Japan and Paris, so the english kind of using grammar.But when park bom talk in english it sound clearly too because she used to live in U.S that known use english for conversation.(sometimes not focus in grammar).

Oh my god I didn't know they met Andrew and Emma!! It's like two completely different fandoms of mine are colliding!! Brain overload! Bom's English is really fun to listen too because her voice is so much deeper than when she speaks Korean! I wish she'd speak more English in interviews, but I can understand her not wanting to, since speaking in a different language can be very uncomfortable especially if you haven't spoke in that language for a long time. I just think of how bad I am in Spanish class after the summer, so I always try to be very understanding for Korean or any other non-English speaking idol trying to speak English and to communicate with English speakers just so that they can feel closer with the English speaking fans. P.S. I LOVE YOU BOM!!
