I must say - I’ve watched all studio McGee video content on Netflix and a lot on RU-vid and, this time I notice a big difference in the way Shea is delivering her words in a video. It’s so eloquent (and full of interior design language vocabulary)! It may be that was always the case but the editing made it feel otherwise. Either way, if this was an intentional change/effort, I absolutely notice it and LOVE it!
Love how there taste and style has changed I remember when she said I only like all white kitchens now she’s doing these beautiful more earthy moody kitchens ❤
What I love about Studio McGee is their willingness to try new styles/approaches and go anywhere with their clients' design request whilst putting that McGee twist to it. Exciting!
Shea, I love how you mentioned it’s modern but yet feels so cozy not your traditional cold modern feel . Every single detail is mind blowing how you thought of the tiny details. I love it so beautiful. Your extremely talented happy your making people so happy making memories with their family .
Perfect for Park City. I’ve got friends there. Call them hard working millionaires. They have a smaller version of the house that you are showing. What a nice environment to rest for a weekend or Holiday period.
No doubt the result of this project is amazing! I would just love to see the "McGee Signature" in a smaller scale and with a bit more personal touch from your clients. :)
Wow, dream after dream after dream and i love it. The design and the decor are beyond gorgeous. I would love to see interior design of a smaller more obtainable home. But i definitely enjoy the gream as well❤️

Rich people watch RU-vid too ya know. They need inspo also 😄 I do get what you’re saying though. I just take inspiration and recreate it what I can within my budget.
They don't get to choose how big or nice the houses are. Their clients come to them with a vision that they fulfill. Whether that be 2500 sqft or 10,000
Love this and the cupboard that is a door! If I sat in the kitchen and someone walked out of the cupboard I would have a heart attack! Kids (and the kid in all of us) will love this!!
Superb presentation! It's a truly wonderful home with every space being thought through to the finest detail. One of the most tasteful homes I've seen - truly beautiful.
The TV is hung way too high. Also, the kitchen cabinets are not all the way to the ceiling. That makes them look cheap, in my opinion. It also collects a lot of dust.
as if you know from decor please! The TV has to be high to look it's best and so it is not too close to the fire. Those kitchen ceilings are very high, if they were two story walls should the cabinets go up two stories????? NO! She made them look more like furniture and that is the reason why. Plus she explained in detail about the cabinets. Watch the video before you flap your gums next time.
Shea explains why they choose to not have the cabinets reach the ceiling. This makes it look more like furniture and expensive. If they went all the way to the ceiling it would look too heavy. And I don't think dust is an issue when you are this rich. You have cleaners.
Love this but how are the long dining room benches even functional. I can't imagine eating and having to try and scoot that long bench up to the table or have other people sitting next to me and being the middle person wanting out to get something. I see the point of not too many chairs and it's beautiful but just heavy and awkward to actually be functional.

Our landlord is selling the house we are renting and we only have 30 days to move out , with my 3 boys, finding a place to move to and change schools which my eldest boy recently got accepted to a magnet school… and this people have a vacation house. What a blessing they have. ✨✨🙏✨🙏✨🙏✨🙏 I don’t even have a place to go to….

I would SO MUCH appreciate the same with the size of each room too. I LOVE to design homes as a hobby, but it's difficult to know what size the rooms should be without furniture placement.
I just love that kitchen and all the seating there too. My word it is like fitting 20 of my own tiny kitchen inside of it. What a perfect huge family area for Thanksgiving! Great view! The natural light in the primary suite is amazing. Love the colors too with those touches of mustard. I do not like the fabric lamp. . .not easy to clean when dust gets on it. That's not a good idea. No bathroom is incomplete without a signature Studio McGee faucet that has bronze. The office is beautiful. Even as a photographer. . that room with the cool looking green chairs but with so many photos and artwork pieces everywhere. . .is a bit much. There are too many things on the wall that it seems busy. I feel there could have been a lot less of the walls being covered. The design otherwise is great. I love the huge photograph though! I think that alone with maybe the small wood shelf next to it on the left and maybe a couple pieces of art on the other wall would have been enough. I love the one room with the wet room. That whole thing is perfect everywhere! You always do a beautiful job designing though!!
This place is GORGEOUS! I LOVE IT…..and it is a bit different! Just a couple things (imo). Need curtains to soften the look and also kitchen cabinets should have gone all the way to the ceiling….but I understand why you didn’t …. The TV? It is way too high and could have chosen the tv that looks like art…. And yes…loving that kitchen colour. I understand the benches around the table…..but no one but kids want to spend any time in them….too uncomfortable. Form over function there imo. Great job guys overall. I can see the thought and effort behind all the choices. Love love love. Please turn all the lights and sconces on for tours!!!!
I’d love that too but the average person wouldn’t be able to afford her services, whether a small house or apartment. Only the rich with money to spare can splurge on hiring a designer so their houses are going to be on the extreme end 😅.
Stunning Project, Studio MeGee! Look amazing. Just an interesting comment, the English don’t use the word ‘backside’ to describe the back. We use the word ‘rear’. ‘ Backside’ implies someone else bottom, which is rude to be comments upon. 😅

So here in South Africa, most of our homes are brick built which I understand is not the case in the States. If your house is already built with plastered walls, is there a way to achieve that exposed stone look that the kitchen has?
