Park County Commissioner Gulches Debate (10-6-20) 

Shouldn't really ever be a "debate" over the elected officials agenda. The Park Co. "Strategic Master Plan" process, aka county's master plan, as required by the State (every ten or so years) sets a vision for the future agenda(s) of a specific geographic area through recommendations for land uses, zoning, transportation, schools, parks, libraries, fire and police stations, and other activities intended to help implement that vision and enhance quality of life. No "debate" needs to be entertained when citizens groups such as 4-WD clubs cannot refer to their inputs and references to the Strategic Master Plan previously held. That's the big picture process where debate and multi-tiered inputs are sifted through and voted on. Oh- didn't show up at the last one which lasted for months? -tough toenails. Be there at the next SMP debates to set future policies. Meanwhile, take your tourist dollars and spend them in another county.
