Jimin didn't have plastice surgery. Even one of his front teeth isn't fixed until now because he doesn't want to use braces for a long time. He was in fact a bit chubby during his pre-debut days. It was because of his diet and make up that makes him look different from his old photos. Several plastic surgeons examined him and proved that he never had plastic surgery. Jimin was the last member to join BTS but V was the last member to be revealed to fans. The information is accurate. That is why in any BTS introduction videos Jimin is the last one to be introduced just right after V. You guys better check it again. LOL!

Tina saying BTS is basic kinda reminds me of how people try to humble Beyonce by saying she's overrated because of her fan base and how big she is. In the end, BTS will be alright. They have talent and a fanbase that isn't going anywhere and actually grows bigger everyday. And if y'all get a chance to explore more of BTS' background you'll see how they grew and maintained their fanbase organically. There's no way they could keep this up for ten years being basic or whatever else she said. And I'm saying this as someone who genuinely likes KPOP as a whole and casually listens and likes other groups.... I lived in Korea for a year, and not once did I ever hear "BTS is basic". It was funny hearing that from her because that came from a biased point of view. It's not that they promote BTS in America, it's just that they've become so big the news channels have to cover them. She's a fan of NCT so 100% she knows about SuperM, a group created by SM entertainment for the purpose of promoting them in the US, which a few of the members of NCT are part of. They pulled out all the stops to promote them in the American market to the point of calling them "the avengers of Kpop" and still, they couldn't reach BTS's success. I guess her comment also rubbed people the wrong way because of how aggressive and sure of herself she sounded when she said "all fandoms hate BTS", a lot of BTS fans are also fans of other kpop groups too. If all pther kpop fandoms hated BTS, their sales and streams wouldn't reach the levels they have lol. If she's moving to Korea, then she should also know that Kpop isn't the main genre of music in the country. There's a difference between kpop (which they call "idol music") and korean pop, so for her to generalise her own dislike towards BTS to other kpop fans and koreans isn't something I can be on board with. Their company, Big Hit, prohibits them from taking photos with fans or anyone. Sometimes the members break that rule but they always give autographs if someone asks them or as you see, they offer it. Someone who is able to take on the role of being the spokesperson for that group and is able to manage/organize the group overall, communicates for the team, that one becomes the leader. I just watched a concert video from Chile and the crowds for BTS were insane. They aren’t just after America, they are globally dominant. As a fat Mexican American, I am so offended by that woman’s anti-BTS remarks. The anti’s are fueled by jealousy and in my opinion, name calling is ‘basic’ behavior and sad because Bts are all kind people. There are some toxic fans in all fandoms but Bts fandom is so big, the other fandoms actually team up to talk them down instead of using that energy to support the artists they do like. NCT are nice people too, and they respect Bts. They would be ashamed that their fans are this negative towards other artists.

The reason those Korean commentators worried about the uncertainty of the future as BTS did their military service was the fact that despite 100's of decent K Pop groups, a single group called BTS represented just over 50% of the entire K Pop market. Enlistment occurred not only as BTS excellence was being recognized globally, but as their very penetration into Western markets was opening doors to other groups. BTS was creating Western fascination for all things Korean which in essence was a tide lifting all ships including the Korean economy. I think some of the enlistment staggering is being done not only to preserve this but to sustain the HYBE behemoth that BTS literally grew from the small Big Hit corporation.

I think most of the comments answered your questions so I won't add to that but I will say that not all army are the same. Some enjoy the honest takes and some enjoy the praise no matter how fake just as long as BTS doesn't get hate. Jimin went to private training centers/studio for martial arts, popping dance. But, because of Jimin's determination to do best , he would get package lessons for free instead of paying student/trainee to make him model student. When Jimin became famous as member of BTS, martial schools in SK sprouted more especially in Busan. Because of the popularity and f BTS, many training or school for dance sprouted in SK because of Jimin and JHope who both went to hiphop schools/training centers.

3 out of 7 members are in the military now and the others (JK, Jimin, V, RM) will enlist by the end of the year. And yes, they are indeed sergeants 😂 in no time they passed the test and went up in rank. Only one member, SUGA, is doing public service instead of military so it's a different kind of job

I’m sure it’s been said already on here but Jimin WAS the last member. V was second to last member but they hid him away and he was only revealed in debut. Jimin had the shortest trainee time hence why he doubles up on his dancing for hours and hours.

I'm commenting as I watch so sorry for the long comments 😭. If they were jealous of each other within the group then they wouldn't have been in the game for 10 years with each other. Jealousy breaks things before it even starts, they genuinely love and support each other and even on this break they've been cheering for each other as solo artists. The most favorited or as we say "biased" are the three youngests of the group which are Jimin, Jungkook and V. Jungkook and Jimin are arguably the top 2 most popular. It's not demeaning for one to be more popular than another, that happens 🤷🏾‍♀️ they are 7 people and even though they have some of the same talents, they are completly dufferent, some people may feel drawn to one more than others. I'm Jimin and Jungkook biased, I love all 7 but jm and jk draw me in differently than the others do, no harm in that :)

BTS were first supposed to be 6 members so they kept V hidden because he was the latest member at the time and didn't want other agencies to try and get him. When Jimin joined the company the others already trained for a while. They debated whether Jimin was ready a lot. They cut him from the group like 6 or 7 times before they made it official because like the video said he didn't have much training and no singing experience. They even asked the members about jimin debuting with them. Thankfully he did debut with BTS and after they decided it, he was the last member of BTS and they debuted shortly after Jimin was an official member. Jimin doesn't hate bromance and is the first member to hug, but he doesn't like fanservice which means to fake a bromance moment for fans. He just said he's never fake and any affection he shows is genuine. I also want to mention since I'm a fan of many different fandoms, most groups are very close and BTS might be one of the closest groups, but many fandoms like to fight with each other a lot. Blinks and ARMY are some of the ones that fight the most. It's a sad fact and not all the fandom is childish, but every fandom has toxic fans.

A good word to describe Jimin and his voice at time is, androgynous. His whole persona often defies a simple classification into male or female. He combines alluring traits of both sexes, and is simply, beautiful.

I'm not from the USA and I'm not a teenager. In Korea there is a lot of competition and jealousy towards BTS. It is no secret that when they won the 2019 MMA, the fandom of other groups joined together to call on the Blue House to repeal the awards. The issue is not that Jimin is charming, which he is, but that BTS has the largest and most powerful fandom and always supports them in anything. And yes, BTS paved the way, said by the same artists such as Seo Tae Ji (father of Kpop), Rain, PSY (Gangnam Style) among many others. BTS PAVED THE WAY
