Park Street Station se Esplanade station cut and cover method mein tunneling hogi. Btw, Khiderrpore station ka kaam kab start hoga aur uska proposal site kaunsi jagah hoga?

Abhi Esplanade metro station ka clearance nahi mila hai due to Bidhan Market reallocation issue. I guess jaldi clearance mil jayega. Khiderrpore station ka location Karl Marx Sarani se thoda aage shayad shift hua hai. Need to check and confirm the exact address.

@@indianrailwayslover375 theek hai. Kyun ki kuch din pehle TOI pe article padha tha ki Kolkata police site handover karne se pehle aas paas ke roads wider karna chahti hai traffic handle karne ke liye.

Khidirpore Metro station ka location tak jao pls, work toh start nahi huya hai, par konsa location par hoga!? Wo ekdin jah kar dikha do pls pls

What about the Purple line Esplanade metro station? Will this line merge with the blue line & reach the blue line Esplanade station? Or it would be a different station like the green line Esplanade one.?

A new station will be built at Esplanade where Purple Line will have its own Station at Esplanade. The proposed site for the station is Bidhan Market but it's under shadows of uncertainty.

@@indianrailwayslover375 Esplanade station ka kaam year end yaa phir early next year start hoga. Pehle abhi bidhan market ka rehabilitation karenge RVNL KMC ke saath milke usske baad Army se ke formal letter milna hai isske liye. Uske baad hi station ka kaam chalu hoga. Chinta mujhe bas Khiderrpore station ka hai, ki Kolkata police site handover karenge RVNL aur L&T ko.

Are they relocating all the Hawkers from Esplanade to a market building?

Yes this was the last proposed information received that has got 80% clearance. They may temporarily shift Bidhan market to a site south of Saheed Minar on Maidan, a state bus stand (L-20) across the market will have to be relocated and traffic will have to be diverted from a stretch of Dufferin Road to facilitate the construction of the Esplanade station. Still full clearance is not received.

dono station ke bich underground kuch connection hoga kya ? Jaise esplanade me blue aur green line ke bich.

Current station will be expanded and new station will be joined with the current station not like Esplanade stations where there are 2 separate stations. Ek path hoga dono stations ke beech I am sure. Let's see what the design plan is.
