Different colored flags were for Muharram which is a mourning month for Shia Muslims, but it's recently over now. The whole of Ladakh UT is economically well off since it's a merely populated region, but goods prices are quite high due to hefty transportation costs as this region is quite isolated. People still afford to survive with this skyrocketing price of goods here. Being Trible, people are not that camera-friendly, so please don't mind that. Cheers!
