The passion can only be shared, not taught or criticised. It can be admired but not easily equalled. Some are born with it while so many have to exist wishing they can do it.
Also, perhaps the best performer! Barrios didn't have the tremendous commercial publicity that Segovia had enjoyed during his entire life, partly because South America was faraway from Europe, culturally speaking and partly because the guitar was still an obscure "classical" instrument during that period.
@@couerl understood. But I did witness first hand his ruthless treatment of us students. And honestly, his technique is much to be desired. His fingering is well, is off. Hardly anybody uses it today. I do respect your comment though.
