That Parker 91 R was my first razor after cartridges. I have since used many more and the Parker is a match for any of them. Really like the size and grip of the handle. A good dependable shaver.

Parker is a doing a good job. I mean considering that they're competing with Solingen and Sheffield steel it's not an easy task.

Hello Tashen. I would not call the Parker 22 an extremely mild razor but certainly not overly aggressive either. Somewhere in the middle is how I would classify it. The Parker blades work very well with the razor. I will drop a feather in it and let you know how it goes.

How would you rate this Parker 91R compared with 94R heafty in terms of aggressiveness & smoothness? And finally thanks for a detailed reviews. According to you sir which parker razor will be good for head shaving too? Recently got feather popular but I feel it's too mild for shaving head every fortnightly & it took multiple passes compare to the budget Gillette sterling (Indian version)

When I finally pull the trigger I think this is going to be my first DE at least since I was a kid that's what I started shaving on back of the '80s. And I'm going to buy it from you guys instead of Amazon. I appreciate these videos I've learned a lot. I don't know that I will completely give up my cartridge razor but this one seems like a good one to start with any advice from season DE shavers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you gentlemen

@@geofatboy I wanted to let you know a friend of mine bought me a Parker 22R I use it for the first time a few hours ago before I left for my Tuesday night men's Bible study. Very first time I've ever used one didn't cut myself once. Also my 19-year-old son wanted to know how the stuff worked so I showed him and he tried it I think he is interested too. Not only did this give me one of the best shaves of my life but it produced a little bit of a bonding experience between my son and I and it's things like that that he'll remember long after I'm gone. Perhaps one day he'll show his son the same things I showed him. This is about more than shaving it's about the art of being a gentleman. Thank you sir

Very beautiful heavy razor chrome is on levell of Edwin Jagger 89 .Wide blade gap very agressive not for sensitive skin and light beard.

I have extremely sensitive skin. Just tried the 91R with a Shark blade. Closest shave I ever had with no razor burns. Just one little nick on my neck. Give it a try! 91R is definitely a daily shaver or a few days beard growth. My beard is coarse btw.

Hi, could you possibly do a cheap vs expensive safety razor video? I did search for the same on RU-vid, but there's no video like that focused only on safety razors. There are some that feature cartridge razors too, but that's not what I'm looking for. My curiosity is with regards to what tangible advantages could you get from a costlier handle.

Got my 6s from ShaveNation a few weeks ago. Great razor, 2-3 plate have been my go to so far.

@@EasyTarget82 Same here. IMO, even as you turn up the plates towards #6, it gets more efficient without feeling super aggressive. Rockwell did a good job of making it ‘beginner friendly’ and not have a ton of blade feel. It shaves extemely smooth and feels very solid.
