Todays vlog, you join me at the Parker Baits HQ for our Open Day! The weather started off poor, with heavy rain, but this didn't stop the attendees from coming, and us putting on a great day for anglers!
As everyone was turning up around 11am, the sun came out and the rain stopped. Our ambassadors fled to their swims around the lake, assisting and guiding the under 16s, helping catch a few carp out of our lake! It was a great chance to for the under 16s to get their rods out, catch a couple carp, and have pictures taken with their families.
We also had casting practice on the field with Garedd & Cory. They were helping others refine their cast, and was able to add an extra 10 wraps with ease for a fair amount of anglers on the day.
The Casting Game was a fun event! Attendees were able to try their hand at some target practice, winning prizes for each target hit! It was a great way for anglers to show off their skills.
We also had our new Magic Bean Wafters available in our shop, along with various other products at the cheapest its ever been! Attendees were also able to grab fresh bait that's been cooked that week, so they can be assured of getting the freshest bait for their fishing, making this the perfect opportunity to stock up on all fishing essentials.
We had various talks around the lake, the first being a showcase of our products, including our Magic Dust, The Flat Spot and The Sauce. A Talk on our ParkerBaiter Baiting Pole was held around the lake, showing off the best way to utilise such a great product. Ben also had a live demo on how he fishes his solid bags, using our products such as The Magic Dust, Mini-Mix Pellet.
Attendees took advantage of a FREE Burger & Cake, supplied by Sean The Chef. He made OG Fruit & Nut Cakes, and OG Fish Cakes. (OG Fish was a red coloured cake)
All in all, it was a perfect day, and this video showcases everything that went on during the day. Keep an eye out, as next year will bigger and better!
