Johnny much respect , I was officer for 15 years and I lived by your moto treat everybody the same not matter the color or religion. Your are great example of what a tow truck driver should be, be safe and you have fans in East Tennessee.
In my 40+ years of driving I’ve never driven without proper tags. I’m beginning to think there are drivers who have never driven with proper tags. 🏍🇺🇸🎒
I do all the time. I have several different vans I drive and it's freaking ridiculous I have to buy tags for vehicles I don't drive but a few times per year. But they are setup specifically for certain events so it's much easier to have different vans. However it doesn't change how much I drive on public roads. No one else drives them.
Driving is a privilege, not a right. The state needs to make money somehow. California registration is $150 per year. A lot of people can’t afford that kind of money but they charge it anyways.
"Not the nicest part of town, that dosen't mean everybody down here is bad" I was brought up in the nicest part of town, and that didn't mean everybody was nice thanks for your videos Johnny stay safe brotha.
I don't think people realize how much time and effort it takes for you to do all the filming by yourself, then edit everything. I like how you try to protect the managers and others so they don't get a target on their back. I worked in law enforcement, and I know it's no fun to have to think about those things. Keep up the great work!
No. 237 in the history books! Thought I was watching a new episode of GI TOW! No joke when you have to wear a bulletproof vest to protect your vitals. Always using good customer relation skills and it's appreciated. Have a safe weekend Johnny!
Aint it amazing, almost every broke down car you tow, has been sitting for months, but you pick the very day it was going to a mechanic to tow it. Totally amazing how that works.....
haha Right? It's always the tow truck was coming that day for them to move it, it's going today for the mechanic, or just waiting on the new tags when it's years behind. Amazing! lol
Expired tags on inoperable cars yet they wonder why it's getting towed🤦♀️They only seem to care about the cars when they're getting hooked! Be safe out there & keep up the good work 👍
Wow, You talk about sketchy areas to tow from and then you pull up on a car with bullet holes? Damn that is scary. You're a brave man Johnny. Stay safe brother, we need you around to make these Awesome videos !
What I like best about you is that your straight with people. Your kind and respectful while adhering to the law and policies. The world needs more of this!
That last car turned into a community affair. The neighbor wanted to help, multiple family members showed up... Good grief! Thought we were going to see the whole building come out. Gotta give him credit, he was certainly persistent. Also, good to see you being safe when you go into those tougher neighborhoods. Take care, stay safe and God bless you and yours.
Bullet resistant vest is an extremely limited bit of protection. I think we're all concerned about him staying safe, but the truth is that it's always possible for a psychopath to switch on the violence. We have to be ready to respond with deadly force, regardless of how much we don't want to use it. I'm not just talking about a gun, either. Gotta be ready for the hand to hand, full commitment neutralizer. At least there's a new hand held device being shown in RU-vid ads. It's a pepperball pistol that can help if you have time to deploy it before the creep gets too close. I'm going to get one, but it will only be a supplement to, not a replacement for my Smith 629.
Don’t blame yourself for not always keeping it together. Bible says none of us is perfect. You do a fantastic job at holding your professionalism. Never thought I’d be marathoning tow truck driver. Found you on accident, now I’m hooked. You impressed me with following the law, and being honorable. You are compassionate and give to those in need. I know you have a great testimony. I’ve also learned so much about cars and towing at my old age. Stay safe brother.
Please be careful first and foremost. I was raised in what was the bad part of town but never got in trouble. People are good and bad and unfortunately the bad congregate together. Prayers and blessings. Thank you for this channel, it makes my day.
It's really amazing what some people will try to get away with. You said it when you remarked that people don't have to like the tow driver. You've got a job to do, and I admire the way you do it.
It's really funny how the vehicles sit for months and once the tow guy gets there the story is " I was going to take it to the mechanic". Well why didn't you do that before the tow guy gets there. lol
love how those guys were trying to trick johnny, this ain't his first rodeo lol keep up the good work johnny, stay safe and thanks for another awesome vid and perfect end to a day
It seems like whatever angle those vehicles are parked in you can usually get them out..keep up the good work and stay safe..good idea on wearing the bullet proof vest.
I still think his boss should invest in a couple of those European style rollbacks that have a bed that rotates 90 degrees right or left to make extraction from tight spots like that a whole lot easier.
Have to tell you that this 80 year old always waited for your video to come out and truly love them all but waking up to one, a cup of coffee, cats and dogs using me as a pillow, watching the sun ☀️ come up, well your video made it a perfect way to start my day. Thank you for all you do. Stay safe, Stay with God, know you are loved and respected by us all....Nanny
@@heehaw8401 In Minnesota we’ve got a guy that occasionally shows up to car shows in his Mexican-market Volkswagen product. It has Mexico plates that expired in 2008.
I started watching your channel a few weeks ago and immediately subscribed. As you say, this is a real channel, no fake here. I have added you to my prayer list to keep you safe on all your travels and in your every day life. I’m not a holy roller but I am a true Christian and I believe in the power of prayer. Take care, stay safe.
Couldn't help but notice you keeping your head on a swivel from the first video I saw. All the cam angles used speak to your situational awareness, which is more out of job necessity than any other reason. Gr8 idea turning those type of necessities into something that us "RU-vidaholic's" can enjoy as well. Stay Kewl, be Safe and Enjoy that Beautiful Country!
People know darn well there are bad sections all around town. It is far easier to protect yourself than tempting fate while towing. People turn into the worst sort. Johnny, you stay safe‼️
Another great video. I really had my heart in my mouth when those two brothers were talking to you at the last. That could've gone sideways in an instant.
Nothing wrong with wearing a Bullet proof vest. You are experienced enough to know that you may need it in the area, and also to stay safe by being down close to the bed of the truck while pulling up the care. You care about yourself and staying alive. The true professional in the field would do this and know to stay safe!! Keep up the great work 👍
I was just going to say you haven’t had a confrontation in while and it wasn’t a big one but did happen glad to see you staying safe out there!!! See you in the next video!!!!
I’ve never seen this Test Drive Tag scam. Most states have dealer plates to use on cars that are for sale. Not sure who came up with idea, but a lot of people in Georgia try to use this method lol
When you said gas station tow, I thought uh oh. Glad it went smooth. Amazing the amount of nice cars people have while living in areas that are not higher up and can't pay for the car needs. Defiantly living past their means, but also scary to have a nice car in a not so nice area. Always amazed watching your skills getting a car out of a tight spot. Thanks again for another great video and stay safe..
It's a very stressful and dangerous job and some people don't care and will do just about anything to keep there car from getting towed. Me and me brother use to repo for title loan businesses. Keep up the awesome work man and stay safe.
The haters on this channel, imagine if none of these cars were towed, nobody would have parking spots bcuz cars would be sitting there for years. Never moved. Good work Johnny
I’ve heard many times in your video with you saying that what you do is real, not fake. Now I gotta wonder who in their right mind would think this is fake?! You do an honest living, making properties spic and span. Get rid of bad-tagged cars, broken down cars, burned out cars, stolen cars, handicapped cheater cars… You risk your life and limb everyday going out to various properties to yank those cars, and people don’t appreciate what you do. Well, guess what, I, for one, appreciates everything you do! Keep it up, Johnny! Stay safe and God bless!!
Oh they are so willing to try and wheel and deal, no matter how long it may take but they aitn't willing to get a real tag. Stay safe out there, Johnny and God bless.
The best Tow Trucking show on the internet. Thank you brother for all the videos you post! Sounds like someone baby daddy is mad! Probably caught his gal cheating
Stay safe it's a hard job to do. Love you videos, thanks for sharing your daily life with us. The last guy on this episode wouldn't let you get a word in edge wise.
You do a great job towing vehicles and you are very professional, caring, kind and show a lot of compassion and patience when it comes to dealing with people. Personally I don’t blame you for wearing a bulletproof vest when going into bad areas and I do agree with you about everyone is not bad that lives in those areas. God bless and stay safe out there.
Love how it seems to always be the very same day that you tow their vehicle that the owner were just about to take it to a mechanic or the new tag was just coming in the mail the very next day even though the tag is like 3 years out of date and the parking lot has a pile of dirt under it. Stay safe out there who knows how recent those bullet holes happened on that car.
4:57 No fake stuff ? You mean like that fake "South beach tow" which is so obvious like Jerry springer but with tow trucks ? LOL I appreciate that you keep it real. Why are "domestic disputes always so loud ? LOL. I just walk away from those types of situations. No point yelling back.
Good video. I appreciate you keeping it real. Telling everyone how it is helps them understand the dynamic between the management, tower, and the towee.
I made it. I started watching your channel on video #37, and here it is now video #237. While yes I have watched the prior videos, I thought it was cool that I've been a fan for 200 videos. Great videos, and even a better man. Be safe out there.
Always nice when the people understand and are cool and calm. Glad you had a good day! Love the videos, finally can say I've seen them all! Now I have to wait until you post a new one. Got spoiled, watching a couple every day. Thanks Johnny, stay safe!
I love your channel Johnny! Be safe out there, what you do is essential to the people who live there and need parking. Thank you for giving us a glimpse into your life and work! You are the bomb!!❤
man i been watching for a while and i never tried to comment before but i look up to ya. im 19 and work 6 10’s building houses. i never had a father figure but you seem like a good one to me. please don’t quit youtube. i like hearing you talk about people and give general advice
👍💯 Thank for noticing and saying that this is not the nicest part of town but that does not mean everyone is bad. Thank you for the wonderful footage and all the hard work you do. As always MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
Most property managers have to pay attention to the city code for parking, and in most areas, cars that are broke and just sits there will get tagged and owners will be notified that the car is in violation of city code and will get removed after some time. In our community it is quite relaxed, but even here they will frown upon a broken down car just sitting there. The owner will get a time limit to remove it, and then they will tow it to the impound yard. After a while it will get sold off or crushed if the owner don't come to get it repaired. No test drive tags are allowed, only proper licence plates.
