@@ivonned32 I mean, in Philly, you should never drive in. We have 16 different high frequency electric commuter rail lines, plus 8 trolleys and 4 subways. If you drive in, you'll sit in half an hour of traffic and wind up with a $50 ticket or spending $30 to park the day in a garage. If you take the train in, you pay $1 to park at the station and $5 to take the train. No traffic on the tracks!
Yeah and it's going to go on for the next 30 years because it's a conspiracy and especially now since they since sent those checks out y'all better just park your car
@@martinag2276 it's more the fact that they're being told their guilty and have to / can prove their innocence in court...unlike a normal court case where a person is presumed innocent until found guilty
This is the show I put on when I'm doing something and not fully focused or paying attention. That's only because I've watched every episode about 10 times. Still going strong to this day... Please bring this show back!
the officer running around getting snarky comments from people left and right, they even yell out of their homes. and he is like: 'this is life man' with the biggest smile on his face. god i love that guys attitutde. he is delightful and truly lives for his job X;D
I honestly felt sorry for him, that is such a derogatory question, maybe he doesn’t have a high school degree so what? I hate people who are like that.
Things brings back memories of staying home from school sick and spending the day watching parking wars lol ❤️ Garfield and the woman saying his name 20 times is iconic
@@ericmorris9855 Why are they paying to park on public rds, that were built with the ppls money in first place? Think about what they are doing to their citizens. The stress, $$, just BS, because the city needs $$ for Pension and employee benefit obligations they have. Look at those rds... You think a dime going back to fix the rds? No... Just newer machines to make it easier to collect more $$ in 2008 Philadelphia had the 2nd highest tax burden behind New York, and this same time the number of pension recipients was higher than number of active workers. While Firefighters deserve theirs...... Public workers contribution was the least in the country besides Baltimore @ 1.85% compared to 4-9% in others. So it's not about reading the signs..
@@MrChrisBozwell Because otherwise there would be no usable road space with triple parking. In the 1920's with many fewer motorcars, the situation was already bad enough prior to the mass adoption of the parking meter. Metering is the best way to ration streetside parking, for better or worse.
To the man at ~3:25, I have lived in the Atlanta area over 50 years and I have never seen towing here like that. I feel for you brother and I will never go to Philly either...
I one time went into a dollar store to make changw for the meter came outside in litterally 40 seconds and had a ticket the ticketer was nowhere to be found it was like they were hiding behind corners with mirrors
I got a $76 dollar ticket at CCP because i parked slightly past one of the polls. Crazy thing is dude watched me park my car and walked up when i went to the meter lol
@@goodbye-qi2ku This is almost too true to be funny. Years before this show was made--1980's or 1990's--you could come out at 3:25 to drive your car away before 3:30 and find that every car on the block already had a ticket. A waste of time. The ticket would probably be dismissed if you showed up for parking court--then in a courtroom with a judge in black robes--but still a waste of time.
@@EricofPhilly basic insurance does NOT come with the vehicle you have to add insurance either by a broker or by the rental agency when picking up the vehicle.
I enjoy watching 'Parking Wars', and especially when the city of Philadelphia is featured. Garfield, Sherry, and Richie B. are my favorites. I wish Parking Wars featured the city of Washington, D.C. I am watching old episodes of 'Parking Wars', June 3, 2021 on Amazon Prime videos.😀 😃 😄 😁
The lesson, pay attention to where & how you park plus don't let know one else drive your car Lucky they don't get tickets in San Francisco they start $79, just for parking
@@codeinecrazyfuture Your saying these people feel Entitled when that not the case for a few of them. Such as the guy in the clip where he's tells one worker the meter broke, proved the meter was broke yet still received a ticket.
I lived in N.E. Philly for four years, and have been back a number of times. I never got a ticket, never got towed, never had any problems. Read the signs!
I parked in a space in Chinatown, paid for it and got my car towed because they thought it was a tow zone. It wasn’t. Found out it wasn’t when the clerk couldn’t find the address the tow sign was supposed to be attached to. So they towed my car for nothing and STILL made me pay the tow fee AND the lot feee when my car should have never been their to begin with. Not always about “read the signs” you just got lucky lol. PPA was literally investigated and audited by the FBI for shady practices. AND the tow truck driver broke my car gas tank and PPA refused to do anything about it.
A&E yall need to let me do the video scheduling for a month. I would do 2 episodes of 60 Days In, 2 episodes of Parking Wars, 2 episodes of Airline, 2 episodes of Shipping Wars each week and whatever else you want but definitely the ones I listed!
I binge watch this on the weekends, and PPA is the worst lol. But there are a lot of guilty entitled people out there who don't pay their parking tickets, and I like this couple, they're funny. 😅
The guy in the PPA saying that he won't be back once he leaves Philadelphia.... Few weeks later he'll be like: im back because someone offered me a job. 😂😂
In Aussie you must pay insurance first b4 the rego on the same form, so u just pick a company & pay at the same desk at the same time. Our police cars have cameras recording every plate & alert the officers for an unregistered vehicles with description. If you are stopped for suspected DUI you just blow into the portable breathalyzer & if u are legal then u just leave. Easy peasy..
The guy with the green 💚💚 shirt is killing me i laughed so hard he looks like the cartoon character ha ha ha . He said everybody cheers me i should be the major of the city 🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣
Hey, when you're a man; you've got to take care of what needs to be taken care of. You've got to handle your business. Don't make excuses like that father did. He didn't handle his business, and his children ended up suffering for it. He blamed everyone else except himself for having gotten into that situation. No one's fault but his.
_"He had two kids, it's cold out."_ Kids both have coats. A real man handles his responsibilities. An immature child trapped in an adult body, makes excuses and blames everyone else.
I wonder how many people lost their jobs because of their BEHAVIOR. Being filmed cussing, screaming, fleeing, fighting, acting like a fool. A boss/company cannot want someone like that in their bussiness.
Even some of the business owners give them a hard time. If I lived in one of these cities, I would never do business at any of the businesses whose owners or managers acted like this.
I can't believe those first two missed their flight in order to get a RENTAL car out of impound. Why didn't they just take a taxi or public transport to the airport, let the rental company deal with the city, and deal with any fees later once they're home? Idiots.
