They are not being respectful, just plain stupid and ignorant. Don't encourage behaviour like this. They could have easily shot this video by just finding a local who agree to have them on their roof and then lure the monkeys there. Just imagine how u would feel if you'd wake up to some stupid young tourist being loud and jumping on your roof, potentionaly destroying your property and attract monkeys to your home. It is people like this that ruin backpackers reputation :/ But it was a fun idea and i enjoyed watching the video even though i got upset.

Bondebillforlife in my area, if someone random guy was jumping over roof, people might think him as a thief or something and probably shoot.

"Just imagine how u would feel if you'd wake up to some stupid young tourist being loud and jumping on your roof". yes i agree with that... but this is mid-day, or late morning. they didn't wake up anyone unless people in india sleep in the day and i just didn't know about it. and "potentially" destroying property, they didn't do that at all. they didn't touch anything except maybe once, and the majority of the time there's nothing on these roofs. also, attracting monkeys to their homes? nope, they didn't do that at all. they found the monkeys and then fed them to get them to follow them, but they never went far, they were always either at the same place the monkeys were originally, or a rooftop away. stop being salty, they were respectful. also one last thing. they can't go ask the locals if they can use their rooftop. for 1, they'd have to find a local with monkeys on their rooftop, and while they're asking for permission the monkeys could very easily leave in that amount of time. for 2, they can't communicate very well with the locals, they speak an entirely different language. not very easy to "find a local who agree to have them on their roof", is it?
