You need to use cells with similar resistance and capacity. 25-R are 2500mAh, old cells are 2000mAh (New). There will be problem with balancing. You should use Samsung 20R or something similar as replacement.
I've recharged a few that 1 cell went too low and wouldn't charge and don't look like the BMS balances nothing just a protective circuit less there's a new version .... Put what ever cells you want in there cus the 2ah ones am pants anyway

We use car engine compartment cleaner, which is called nose water here. I don't know what to call it in English. Good degreasing and decontamination effect.
@@mcirelandosharma7411 no it is not the same thing. carb cleaner would ruin the plastic parts. this solution is called in English exactly engine bay cleaner or engine compartment cleaner.
hello, good job you did there. but I'm not sure it's a good idea to replace only 2 cells with different cells, it could cause problems in the future. that said, it's a nice repair

Hi, it I have received 2Ah battery, manufacture in 2018. It volts are ok but it was not charging (red and green blink) then it drill only works for 1 second and shuts down until next push of button . I measured all cells was perfect balance. I then removed pcb and on other side found one track damaged it was a cell connection to balance circuit, after solder back it then started to charge but after 5 minute of charge it then again green and red led blinking and still same it after one second it drill shuts down. what can be wrong....
Wrong. 5 will give You 3,4 A, with 10 (5s2p) of those You will have 6,8 A. NCR18650B has too bad max discharge current, not working in this application.
