Thank you for sharing this with us and taking the time to compare it to your Father’s welder… 👏🏻 Seems to be an impressive lidl (sorry!) unit and, as it is just about to become available in our local store (Sunday 26th May) I could be tempted… ✅ I have not welded in my life, but always fancied giving it a go, even at a basic level, so it seems like a good opportunity to now explore my non-welding skills… ⚡️

Ok Romania, I'm from Bulgaria , ...☺My invertor is parkside pisg 120A D5, 60€...working not with 3,5 mm electrodes.. Only 2,5 mm😕 Your video is very good..
It is my first time operating this welding unit. Evertime when I practice the 2.5mm electrode i sticks to the metal n it's frustrating. I m stressed 😢😢😢😢
Omg this is a little monster, completely obliterated your father's China thing! Probably if you can live with that awful fan noise this is the best buy for a little inverter. Just keep it away from metal dust so it doesn't damage the electronics.
@@UltimateDIY I bought a few welders for my father, but this Parkside is actually pretty good, I think I will buy it to as portable welder. You can put some fine wire mesh in the front to protect it from metal particles, those kill most of the inverters as they have a tunnel from front to back for forced cooling and will suck everything in. You could open it and show the insides to see how the components look, if they are coated then it is even better.
