People are calling this song disappointing, however they fail to realize that this is clearly the main single of the album, practically the ''Vice Grip'' of ''Reverence''. They've stated many times that this new album is going to be a lot more aggressive and heavier, so calm your shit. After ''Wishing Wells'' it's obvious that this is going to be a complete monster of a record. Also, this song is super catchy.

honestly the reason I don't like the "metal" community, used to think it was cool being "metal" or "hardcore" when I was a teenager but now I'm older I've realised how fucking pathetic some of these grown ass men are. Parkway rock any style, and I'm glad they are still making tunes and not sticking to what people want them to do.

Metal is dying and these comments will certainly show why. The band is amazing. Love the song. However everyone else seems to think that bands are supposed to write music that caters to each individuals preference? I don't know if you've ever been in a band before but it's about the artists expression of theirselves. First and foremost music is written on an emotional foundation that influences and shapes the song. If you don't like how bands write their music or express themselves then what's your excuse for not writing the music you want to hear? Seems to me people just want to complain.

Not going to lie, I seen this band live at Welcome to Rockville waiting for Godsmack. THEY STOLE IT. And I am a huge Godsmack fan seen them 17 times so far. Now I am a fan of Parkway. Their new album is awesome. I have listened to it over and over. I have not done that with a whole album in years. The progressive metal sound they have has evolved over the years and if you ask me I think they have found THEIR sound. Shadow Boxing is my fav song

BrunoScars5089 we used a high speed motion control robot. You pre-program the moves and it can repeat them as many times as you need. The robot is available at a place called Tasty Pictures in Brisbane

Being that I'm unfamiliar with the band, this is one of the only songs I've heard before on the radio, and I have to say it kicks ass. I love the guitar for how well it captures your interest throughout, and it's definitely got that "oomph" to it I like from hard rock/metal songs. I think Vice Grip is the other I've heard on occasion and really like that one, too. Even if I don't end up hearing more, those are still two solid songs that really give a good impression of them.

WOW, I'm on the opposite end of your spectrum - their new stuff sounds commercial & mainstream unlike their earlier works like "CARRION" "KARMA" "SLEEPWALKER" - it's sad but true how most bands start-off "underground" and sound their absolute best but make no money; it's only when they mature and release "radio-friendly" tunes in order to make $$$ but compromise their brutal & raw sounds...it's the path of every single Hardcore Heavy Metal Band.

Some people hate bands that evolve. They prefer them to stick to the same stuff album after album. Which is a stupid mindset. Bands evolve or get left in the dust, members mature up and so does the sound. For example, if Gojira kept their original sound they wouldn't be as skilled as they are now. Sticking to the same shit is bad from a creativity point of view and bad from a mental health point of view. Then you'll get the so-called "hardcore" fans who will complain that they haven't evolved while still hating any type of band evolution. You see the problem here?

Check out Karma, Wishing Wells, Carrion or Boneyards. Just feels like they have gotten more anthemy and less heavy. I prefer the old stuff, but I don't hate their new stuff, its sort of a listenable 'meh' zone.

its a shame Parkways fans arent as good as their music. Everyone so butthurt about the change in sound and say the albums gonna be shit cause of this one song. I thought Fans of parkway would be a little more open minded and not jump straight to conclusions. If you want Horizons style music, well then heres a thought, LISTEN TO FUCKING HORIZONS THEN. Bands change, some more than others but its their music. You want a certain style than make your own fucking band and we'll see how far you get playing the same shit. You can tell they enjoy what theyre doing, just by this video, so why isnt that good enough? You ever wonder why they are doing "softer" songs? all that screaming and tearing of the vocal cords i imagine takes it toll. Perhaps Winston wants to prolong his voice, use your head.

I think they way they're trying to infuse old school classic heavy metal into the modern metalcore sound is pretty cool, I don't know if I actually like how it's turned out as well as their older stuff but this is a really interesting direction that I hope more bands would explore, and I'm sure these guys will get better as they go along and refine the stuff they're experimenting with a little more. I thoroughly enjoyed this song but I'd really like to hear some songs that still deliver on the really heavy aggressive metalcore front while still incorporating the heavy metal vibes, tweak the balance of the two a little more to the heavy side. This is a fun song though.

Now hang on lads. I listened and thought it was terrible. Now after I think in the environment of an album that follows Wishing Wells’ tracks, this could be that fun party song in it, like Vice Grip. They might have just wanted a bit of fun with a song and therefore maybe this is just the odd one out. I won’t pretend like I don’t prefer Horizons to this, but this in the environment of a Parkway record could be amazing. If you think like that I think it’s a sick song. Also video is amazing

This is quite possibly the most bored I've ever been listening to a metal song. Cookie cutter verses and lyrics paired with predictable and cliche song structure, sometimes when bands change their sound their hard work speaks for them, (Veil of Maya, Plot in You, Architects) but MAN, the only person more bored than me is the poor drummer! (Save for a stale tom roll in the bridge) But I'm sure everyone will tell me why my opinion is wrong :D

Been to Parkway 3 times, each time has been a fucking riot. I never really liked Vice Grip or Crushed, they weren't my favourites, but when they started to play them live I got more hyped than I thought i could be! Can't wait to see them again for this album.
