Amendments made to the Constitution by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi during the 21-month "state of emergency" from 1975 to 1977 should be declared null and void by the Supreme Court and the previous, original text should be restored. It does not look like there will be legal obstacles to getting this done. This petition will be strictly limited to removing amendments she made during the Emergency and not to any other amendments she may have made after she eventually returned to power in 1980. This channel should seriously consider hosting another show about getting this matter heard by the Supreme Court.

India did not need a constitution to tell us that India is a secular country. Hinduism is secular by nature.

Anchor did an outstanding job in pointing out the many amendments made to the Constitution by the Congress Party during its disastrous, sixty-year, misrule for the benefit of the Nehru family. Nehru did not care at all about the future of the country. Losing J&K, the Northeast, Aksai Chin, or any other parts of India, meant nothing to him. As long as the invaders left one small region of the country alone in which his family could rule - that was all he wanted.
