Having previously encountered the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor series when it was first introduced in 2021, Wei proceeded to collaborate with Guido Terreni, CEO of Parmigiani Fleurier, to craft a unique rendition, giving birth to the exclusive Parmigiani Fleurier × Revolution & The Rake Tonda PF Micro-Rotor “Serenissima” limited to just 25 pieces which were sold out in mere moments.
Now, by popular demand, we proudly introduce our second collaboration with the esteemed brand, the Parmigiani Fleurier X Revolution Tonda PF Micro-Rotor 'Purple Reign'."
Parmigiani Fleurier's distinctive fusion of refinement and elegance distinguishes it within the watch industry. Now, complemented by a stunning yet subtly understated purple dial featuring the Maison's signature Guilloché Grain d'orge motif, it's so finely crafted that any smaller, and it might vanish from sight. This integrated bracelet sports chic timepiece truly stands in a league of its own.
The decision to use purple pays tribute to its historical association with royalty, hence the name 'Purple Reign.' It's important to note that this choice isn't a reference to Prince's famous 'Purple Rain,' but Wei's clever wordplay adds a delightful twist to the story. Kudos to Wei for his creative touch.
This limited edition is housed in the familiar 40 mm polished and satin-finished stainless steel case, measuring a mere 7.8 mm in thickness. It owes its slim profile to the self-winding caliber PF 703, featuring the 'Revolution' logo elegantly engraved on the Guilloché Grain d'orge micro-rotor. This timepiece is elegantly finished with an integrated stainless steel bracelet, showcasing a combination of polished and satin textures."

Nice watch. The movement is fantastic too. I'd love to see a brilliant yellow dial... The colour looks more mauve to Me. Take the glasses of when trying to communicate please

If and when I`ll find the finance to get a Tonda PF, I`ll get one! It’s a beauty and the brand have created a magical watch, so well done in material and design! It touches up there, with the holy trinity quality and form!

Awesome design and great colors. I love it. I am just a bit concerned about the finishing when looking at the close-ups at 6:18, given the depth of field of the close filming the spots are clearly on the markers. Also when looking at the clasp at 6:26 the difference in gap between left and right is huge - but that can be because of the position and gravity. Hopefully production models will be fine.
