Someone to share the history of this band, i need to know it more, am not able get the words but i really like the way they used to organize their music.
this was eulogy for the sister to Ajelo Sure. she was Paulina Sure. paulina died suddenly after setting her food on the table to eat ( lunch) in unexplained circumstances. she died without touching the food. foul play was suspected.Sure was the dad of ajelo and paulina--dont read SURE the way you would read English words... read it like it is a swahili word. paulina was her dad's only daughter...ajelo's only siz..... so our title shud be PARO NYAR SURE... EULOGY for the "DAUGHTER OF SURE"
The song was famous during mourning and funerals in the late 70s and early 80s. Still listening to this from Tanzania. That was Migori Super Stars lead by Musa Olwete
This is a funny compilation. I can pick Otonde Kajonyo's guitar picking, the lead vocal is Ajelo Sure. Kilimo Jazz was a grouping of Odira Jombo. Collela too is playing on the track. Anyone with proper information to share please.
